The place is full with scenic beauty and having a estuary of river and sea which creates an awesome ecosystem and natural beauty. You can plan for picnics here too but the river water is not that clean. People are dumping the waste and using this area for drinking alcohol from late evening time.sunset is a must watch here.
Good beach enjoyed playing there lots of sand artists around made sand art near beach .lots Fresh fish stalls are there serve variety of fish and shops are there for soviner shopping.
The most relaxing place in Puri. And my favourite spot
One of the cleanest beaches in the country. There are areas on the beach which are full of people and there are others where you can enjoy the calm and peace alone. You can see fishermen in action in the morning and evening using everything from a boat to a tyre.
In 2018 its a very less populated beach area in Puri.Those who want a lonely and noiceless stay, best for them.
Clean, uncrowded beach. Best place to enjoy a lovely sunset, just sit by the beach and relax. Not be disturbed. The salty sea breeze, the tiny crabs playing hide and seek. Wonderful wonderful place.

Ideal for weekend tourist who wants to spend quality time with family and friends. Beach is good for swimming. Nearby attractions is mohona.
