I like the temple very much .One can feel eternal peace when he/ she meditate on statues of God Balark and Goddess Ranadevi. It should be cited as Sun temple. Because Ark means the Sun like konark.

This religious place is a temple of sanchihar samaj most honourable god. The temple bears black wooden murti of Sh.Balark (Sun) and their wife Maa Ranade. Temple is being maintained by sanchihar samaj committee.

Great place to visit. Get great view of city and its life style. This warrior city kept India safe from intruders for thousands years.

This is the oldest temple of barmer and the statue is more ancient which greatly represnts a particular form of god sun I.e. BALARK ( YOUNGEST SUN) . must visit.
