Bala Quila, perched atop a picturesque hill, offers a mesmerizing view of Alwar and the Karni Mata Temple. Its historical significance shines through as the only fort that withstood Mughal invasions. The tranquil surroundings, nestled in the lap of nature, add to its allure. However, the fort's charm is marred by neglect; it's not well-maintained, and the poor condition of roads leading to it poses a challenge. Once inside, the disappointment sets in, as there isn't much to explore. The presence of bats and a lingering smell detract from the overall experience. In conclusion, Bala Quila's historical importance and panoramic views make it worth a visit for enthusiasts, but the lack of maintenance and limited attractions within diminish the overall appeal. A mixed bag of historical significance and neglect.
Fort is under construction right now so I don't think people should make much effort to visit this. It might get converted to heritage property to stay. Entry charges for car is Rs.50 and Rs. 10 per person. No need to book gypsy, one can go by own car. It's situated on hill top which gives complete view of alwar city. I expect fort would be beautiful from inside also. Will visit it again after it's constructed. Polythene is banned here which is a very good effort to keep the place clean. You will get a complete hill top riding experience here to reach the fort.
difficult to reach.. But its a nice place to visit
