Dosa was tasty though bit oily, sambar and chutneys were okay. Friendly staff. Not too much space for dining in but can take away.
We have bought from here in few occasions. It's average or below average quality food. Sambar and Chutney is below average quality. If you like similar South Indian stuff try Govindam Thatte Idli. Quality food and reasonable price. Very good variety. If you are quality concious don't eat from Bala Dosa. Zomato and Swiggy too loot on pricing on Bala Dosa. Just FYI Swiggy and Zomato charge 100% over price charges by Bala Dosa. Example 40 rupees medu Vada is charged 80 rupees by these delivery partners. For a substandard food.
They serve good South Indian breakfast dishes like dosas, utthappas and idli-medhu wadas. Food isn't overly oil. The white chutney is flavourful, but their rasam isn't that tasty. They will often give out more than necessary required quantity of liquids. Service is fast. Communication might be tough as the countermen are south Indians. You can sit and have food or take parcels. Seating only for 4 people tho.
Only recommendation is take away for mendu Wada, for the price, dosa is a disappointment.

A South Indian food junction serves Idli, Dosa, Medu vada & Dal vada with Sambar & coconut chutney with any combination of the above four items per plate at a reasonable price, great and consistent taste. Take away options available here but no home delivery. Usually crowded especially on weekends however it's managed well with additional staff and faster delivery. Now they have improved menu options to choose from with a nice dine-in facility too.
'Old Bala Dosa Plaza' beside Lok Upvan Phase 2 society is famous which operates from 6am to 11am. And this restaurant is a branch of it. Both serve best Mendu Vada and Idly.
