Bakreshwar Thermal Power Station of West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited is a power station with an installed capacity of 1050 MW (5x210 MW) and it is proposed for capacity expansion of another 500 MW. Bakreshwar Thermal Power Station is located at 23deg50'N 87deg27'E in Chinpai and Bhurkuna gram panchayat areas of Birbhum district in the Indian state of West Bengal.[1] It is located off the Panagarh-Morgram Highway, on the bank of Bakreshwar River some distance downstream from the hot springs and temple at Bakreshwar. Chinpai railway station on the Andal-Sainthia Branch Line and Bakreswar Thermal Power Plant Township are located nearby.

This place is awesome...if you want to learn something new about the Power stations or production of Thermal energy.

One of the efficient power plants in India. They have a very nice rose garden with wide varities of roses. The garden is really appreciable.
