Baker's Cafe - Bakery and Cake Shop in Gangtok - East District, India

Amazing for sweet tooth people. Quality and quantity both amazing for the price range. It has very cafe feeling, wish there was outdoor sitting. But something like this in Tadong n not in the middle of city is amazing.

O my god. This is one of the best cafes that I have ever been to. Must try . All their food were out of this world. Was so happy . Their food lifted the overall mood of all the people in our group . Must must try. Very well decorated and also very courteous stuff.

The tea, coffee and the food was humongously overpriced. The tea was 85 rs for Nescafe, and 90 for assam team. You get it, right? Baked items were average, bread tastes like bread, sweet meats are horrible,

This nice little cafe and bakery was a welcome stop on our morning walk. I had the chicken walnut sandwich. Although I didn't detect many walnuts, it was perfectly adequate. The apple crumble, cheese puff and milk coffee were also tasty. Good value.

While our experience overall in gangtok was running towards minus 5, bakers cafe came to the rescue. I had already marked this place to visit here and we did! It is a bit far from MG road but thats okay. It is a cute little cafe with a lot of bakery items for you to grab! We tried: Raising muffin: they heated it up for us, I LOVED it. Others didn't as much, but it was exactly what I needed to bring up my sugar (aka happiness levels) Ginger lemon honey tea: we ended up having two of these. The first one, I didn't know I had to stir the honey to be absorbed in the tea. In the second one I did that. In the cold winters of end December, this was the relief to the throats and the body. Hazelnut coffee: it was nice, from what I heard from my friend. Chicken Mexican pizza - I'll give this 2 stars. I felt they don't specialise with pizzas. The crust was market made. Didn't feel like a pizza. However, the chef made it in the form of a Christmas tree, which was very creative and sweet! Almond mocha pastry: average taste, I won't go back for it. Agli olio pasta - they made it with penne instead of spaghetti. We had to almost redo the penne one for the taste by adding seasonings and olive oil. Overall: I feel this place is more bakery than eatery. But you can pay it one visit.

The cafe looks very appealing and sports an elaborate menu, but the taste of the food wasn't up to the mark. I ordered a Paneer Puff and I'm not sure if they had put any paneer inside. Next I ordered a Chicken Cheese Burger which tasted very very basic. The buns were extremely dry and the chicken patty inside didn't have any significant taste of its own. On top of all this, the place doesn't accept UPI and although they have mentioned it in bold letters that they accept all sorts of cards, they made me roam around on the streets searching for ATMs because they only took payments in cash these days.

The first good cafe in Sikkim if I may say.. the mussfins and pastries are really good. The ambience is the best. They have beautiful festive themed decorations according to occasion. The staffs are very friendly and the pricing is very reasonable. I do not like some items on the menu like the pasta and pizza. But that aside, this cafe is a go to place for the locals as well as the tourists. Be it with your friends or family or just by your self.

Peaceful place to rest and eat while enjoying the majestic view of Kanchanjunga peak from the window. Tasty food and enjoyable beverages. Must enjoy the snacks and view of the restaurant.
