Please don't go to this place, I once got here through google. The locals attacked me, I was alone they tried to strangle me. I was saved by a good guy, I urge you it's a barren fort nothing to see and the locals are dangerous, the locals are drug addicts and can take your life for pretty cash. Save yourself mate don't go

Very hard to locate. An Indian driver from Jalandhar had no idea where it was. Second driver was more successful. In a state of complete ruin. Now owned by a farmer & locked up. Apparently sold off by the government. Complete disgrace that the history of this fort is nowhere to be found.

Total waste of time... There are no entry gate I suggested please don't go to Bajwara Fort

Great architecture, also please visit Mata Sundri Kaur je (wife of Guru Gobind je) Gurudwara fort which is very close.

This is an Historical place, but totally ignored by concerned Departments/State- Central Govts ! ...HCM

No road to connect with fort , most of the fort destroyed

. (01/2018) A historical fort standing tall in the outskirts of city. It is located in a village with the same name, few kilometres from the city. The entrance to this fort is via narrow streets which can be little difficult to figure out by first-timers. No directions are provided in the village to reach the fort. This fort has rich history and a beautiful structure. Built by Raja Sansar Chand and developed till 18th century. Still standing tall despite all negligence and no preservation efforts from the authorities. It is pity that this site is advertised as one of the tourist attractions of the city but it is not taken care of at all. The only effort made from the archeology department that you will notice is the wired circumference but that hasn't stopped community to use the land. Provides some scenic and mesmerising views. One can easily access the inside of fort from what is left and explore the amazing structure. When visiting, you can notice the deterioration that this fort has gone through over the years, people using surrounding land for farming and the walls being used for cow dung cakes. No seating or benches are provided at this location for enjoying the views. No viewpoints with dedicated viewing areas and seats could be found during the walk around this fort. A good place for a quick drop by and revisiting the history. There is no dedicated parking area available for this fort although ample street parking can be found around this location. There is no wheelchair parking. There is no wheelchair accessible entrance. In fact no clear entrance. You may have to figure one out for yourself. Public restrooms are not available.
