Not so popular among tourists and that's what make this place so virgin. This is truly a bird watchers paradise. Its divine and serene. You have to come here a number of times at different intervals of the day. You can see one of the most beautiful sunrise at the dawn where as one of the most picturesque sunsets at the dusk. For bird watching the months of October to January is the best as many migratory birds visit during this time. Keep a binocular and some snacks with you while you are in this place to experience one of the most memorable days of your life.
It's an amazing place for bird watching as well as to observe natural beauty. In the bushes and big trees along the canal you can find birds like oriole, bulbul, prinia, tailor bird, drongo, dove etc and on the canal you can find wagtail, waterhen, jacana, cormorant, egret, heron, sandpiper etc. The place is 10 minutes' walk from Baidyabati station. Road condition is very bad after Battala Mor, not suitable for both two and four wheelers. Very few people pass through this area throughout the day. Due to this, the secluded and quiet environment makes this place more suitable for bird watching.
This place is not safe. You have to go this place with a group of people for your safety. This is a great place for bird watching.. In winter lots of migratory birds set their 2 nd home at this place..

Hariyal Birds They usually come in between time of September to December here.They are playful but calm in nature.They love spending times in big group of 60-70 birds even more sometimes and simply enjoy whithin themselves by hours & hours on top of the big long trees.
