Beautiful metre gauge railway station with 2 metre gauge and 3 broad gauge railway lines. Metre gauge trains run from Bahraich to Mailani via Nanpara, Dudwa and from Bahraich to Nepalganj via Nanpara. It is 60 kms from Gonda and 35 kms from Nanpara. There is 24x7 bus service from Gonda to Bahraich and road is also very good. Bus takes 1 hr 15 mins from Gonda to Bahraich. Soon broad gauge railway will also stary from June. This railway station earlier had 2 platforms but now it has 3 platforms- 1 metre gauge and 2 broad gauge. It is home to the very beautiful and historical metre gauge railway of India. The station has retiring room and waiting room facilities. Parking is not available here so it is at your own risk. The road from Bajaj service center side(East) is very bad so avoid taking it to station. Station has staff for assistance. A foot-overbridge is now also constructed for crossing the tracks. One of very few remaining railway stations with both meter guage and broad guage lines. Lost its charm after discontinuation of many trains. Only 5-6 passenger trains are operating from here. Broad guage connects Gonda and narrow guage connects Nepalganj road and Mailani. Narrow guage trains connecting to Mailani are now continue. Recently an Express train to Varanasi is added to the list.
This small city is growing rapidly from last couple of years. I remembered when i moved to this city in year 2000, i felt why i came here but in last 23 years, i am happy as i get everything what i want. Good connectivity on roads, 22-24 hours electricity, water supply and easily availability of everything which required on daily life
My experience is good by taking these things.

A Doctor is called just next to God so I must say the best doctor of the city ... Minimum fee excellent services, wise, Knowledgeable as my mother was Treated by him and we got the best result for Survical pain . Do visit without second thought.
