Baghmora Winter Carnival - Adventure sports in Baghmora - Jorhat, India

It's a great place for a picnic. I honestly love the atmosphere and the cool breeze. Moreover, the people are extremely welcoming.

Potential place for tourist attraction. Management is not good at all. No direction helping sign board on the entire road. Road condition on the last 3km is horrible. Don't dare to drive a car if u r not an expert driver. On the spot there is planty of pork and local wine. Not a good place for family. It could be a very good place for tourist spot but due to bad management it turns into a place of local open wine bar.

I came to attend the festival for the first time. Attending the last day of function, had a very wonderful opportunity to cross the whole Brahmaputra by river boat and went on a trekking to Jadav Payeng "The forest man of India" and explore his own plantes forest. Overall had a new experience.

Good place for peace mind set 1 night cost 1500 rs for night stay and moloya forest tracking (including dinner & Boat )

Baghmora winter carnival, located at Baghmora near Alengmora , 10 no spar, you can go there by malow ali road, place is popular as Jorhat's Best picnic place, well maintained well decorated , tent service is available you can stay there at night at very low cost , local mising haaj or saimod is also available with smoke pork lots of adventure activity is there. A beautiful spot to spend a day and also for camping. Beside the river Brahmaputra, they have really created this wonderful sneak out place, where you can go and spend some quality time with your friends and family away from the chaos of the city. Since, Jorhat have just quite a few number of places for tourism purpose, this place have become a major attraction. On weekends and holidays there is a lot of crowd in the morning as it's a perfect picnic spot. There are certain adventure sports like rafting, but you won't enjoy it, if you have already experienced it in places like Rishikesh. Other than that, for a new camping experience, this place is amazing..

It is located on the bank of Brahmaputra river. It is typical village site about 20 km distance from Jorhat. Some bamboo hut and tree house are also available there. During winter time river is out of water. It is a good picnic spot. But you must carry drinking water , eatables . There is no shed to protect from rain or sun. It is purely in open at the bank of Brahmaputra river. Some adventures for children and adults also there on paid service . Entry free Rs50/- per car. You can enjoy only if you are in group.
