Baghdad Point - Tourist attraction in Adhal, Devasare - Satara, India

This place is a paradise, not on the regular tourist map of Mahabaleshwar. Enjoy the sky, clouds, greenery and the awesome view of the Kanher Dam!

I have been a frequent traveler to this place Baghdad point..located far away from centre of mahableshwar..very peaceful..very less crowd. Amazing place to visit specially during monsoon as most of the area is covered in fog and everything is so beautiful... Roads are not that bad.. inside roads are fine but sometimes because of heavy rain the bypass road from Mahabaleshwar market to here is a little difficult to drive

Well it was cool place but looks fantastic in monsoon & Winter don't go in the summer time as was very hot and nothing to do there just a view is so cool and on the way there are lot of karvanda tree where you can stop the car and just enjoy the fresh karvandas sorry I don't know the English name. And to go to the point its cool as nice roads jungle all and all a one time visit.

This is one of the most distant and remote view points of Mahabaleshwar, about 10 kms from the market. We had to take a side road off the Mahabaleshwar Medha Satara state highway and the point was about 4 km down the road. The views of the Koyna valley and the surrounding hills were mesmerising. It was an isolated place with no other souls around. The nearest hotel with a restaurant is the Dwarkadeesh Hotel about 2 km away.

Amazing early morning sunrise or you can also watch sunset....can see some booze bottle and few plastic but overall good place to hangout for sometime

Amazing view point on Mahabaleshwar-Kaas Plateau road. Panoramic view, place to park a car available. Clean and beautiful.

This view point is tucked away in the middle of nowhere. We happened to visit since it was close to the place we stayed. An absolute gem of a place. Quiet, serene and no crowd at all. The Google co-ordinates are not exactly accurate, you will have to climb up a little on a small hillock on the roadside & figure out the right spot to view sunset and view of the kas plateau. As mentioned, location is quite remote so may not be worthwhile traveling just to visit this as it will get quite dark and difficult to drive back after sunset.

Sunsets are awesome here. Lesser known place, hence less crowded. A bit away from mahabaleshwar, plan this well in advance if this needs to be visited..
