The finest of the resorts and still your manager don't even have a basic communication etiquettes to respond a request with modesty. Such a disgusting behavior to even ask for a help to know specific things.

Bagh villas was awesome. We can't wait to go back! Lia and Akhilesh were very kind, very warm and hospitable, helpful. Srikant, the expert naturalist, became known as birdopedia to us. He didn't get phased with our questions. With his help, we spotted three tigers including one that came less than 5 feet from to our car, lots of deer, one kingfisher, one eagle, gaur, langurs, peacocks, wild dog, jungle fowl, and more. They managed to get us into two afternoon safaris and one morning one. We especially liked the morning safari because you set-out in the early ours of the morning and see the sunrise. They give you blankets and warm bottles to stay warm. We got to have a picnic breakfast on the trunk of the jeep. The rooms were lovely, it had a bamboo shower. The hammock outside lets you enjoy the view. They made the beds and tidied the room more times than any hotel we have ever stayed in! Lia indulged us by showing the chicken coop, harvesting of vegetables, picking them for our next meal. We loved the Nutella banana pancake and all the food was yummy. The charming bonfire at night completed the surreal setting.

Overpriced over promised and under delivered. The cook needs a lot more training, spa was non-existent. The naturalist/ guide was very good and knowledgeable

absolutely fantastic property. stunning aesthetics, and extremely meticulous staff that is always on-the-ball. The food is also delicious, catering to various specific requirements as needed. the level of cleanliness and maintenance is unmatched. easily the go-to place to stay in kanha. the luxury tents and cottages are excellent.

BEST EVER STAY! Akhilesh ji and Lia are just born to do this. Amazing hospitality. Beautiful property. Our rooms were made 2-3 times a day. We were just made to feel at home. Everything was super clear. Food was too good and the way Lia served it to us with all the love was amazing. Very kind, humble, considerate and loving staff. The way team welcomed us (with tea/lemonade cold towel/hot towels according to the weather) every time we came back from safari was just amazing. They work on your timings and don't force you to have meal before a certain time. Trust me you won't be disappointed at all even if you don't get a safari and just go for stay there.

Very nice upscale resort located ~7km from the Mukki entrance to Kanha National Park. Luxury tents, swimming pool and delicious food prepared onsite! The resort staff are also very helpful in arranging safaris into the park. A+!

Visited this property between 29 Oct - 1 Nov 2021, with 4 families, each having 4 kids between the ages of 6-7yrs. Akhilesh and his wonderful wife Leah (pardon the spelling if I'm wrong) were totally unexpectedly fantastic hosts. The uniform is a classic army/camouflage and seeing all the staff wear this, in a Jungle Resort, was a special feeling in itself. Then we saw the luxurious tents with high class amenities, the attention to cleanliness, the touch of homeliness (with hot water bags inserted in the beds at the end of our exhausting safari trips, the bonfires and scrumptious evening snacks (pakora's and other bites) combined with the amazing food and desserts (& this was the incredibly indescribable part) made our even more holiday special. The staff, especially Pranad Senior Naturalist and Sreekant as well as others gave us a superb educational tour of the property, fluora, fauna, birds and animals, and even insects. Pranad especially went out of his way to take our kids around the property teaching them about the millipedes, butterflies, grasshoppers, and spiders, and really made it seem like they knew him rather than having just met him. The property itself is kept in fantastic condition & cleaned obsessively. The pool is a fantastically long and again superbly cleaned Olympic sized lap pool (which itself is unique in a property in the middle of the jungle, open to the elements of nature). The team even took us out for a drive to the neighboring villages distributing biscuit packets to the little village kids. This little act itself made it evident that the team at Bagh Villas is indeed working with the surrounding people and not simply a commercial establishment. We've travelled over the world multiple times, but it was by far one of the best experiences we've had,. A definite recommendation to anyone who wants a mix of both, luxury & homeliness, nature & elegance in the middle of a jungle experience.

My husband and I visited Kanha in March 2019 and we stayed at Bagh Villas. It was one of the most exquisite outdoor living experiences we have ever had. The tents were very well equipped, comfortable, safe and very clean. The whole property had a very homely and welcoming ambiance and the hospitality extended by Akhilesh (Umesh) and Lia his lovely caring wife was exemplary. Their attention to detail was astounding. The whole property was eco-friendly and used only natural local resources. Lia catered to every palate and it was as if the meals were being prepared only for us. They were healthy, home made and wholesome - also good for not putting on weight! The other staff were all very polite and attentive. The two naturalists Panish and Shrikanth and also Akhilesh himself were very knowledgeable and patient with our numerous questions about the birds and most of all about the tigers. The Bagh Villas team also removed a whole seat in the jeep to accommodate my husband's camera equipment. We were very lucky to have such excellent naturalists with us and out of 4 safaris we saw tigers during 2. The sighting on the second day was unbelievable - for a whole 25 minutes it was only the majestic tiger and our one jeep.
