Pocket friendly place for non veg lovers. Although I found the chicken dishes to be good but I was not that satisfied with the mutton handi I ordered. Big chapatis so order only one at a time. Chicken fry was very tasty. Friendly staff decent ambience. Recently renovated interiors. Not a place for fine dine much like a small street side legendary restaurant for having some really tasty chicken. Custard and Firni are must try.

This is the best place for having lunch and dinner. Very low/cheap price n the best quality of food, you will get here. Even though the place was high in standard I can't imagine that this hotel's price is very low. The staff are very sweet n nice. Don't go to the Taj hotel come here n taste every food.

I had the pleasure of dining at Bagdadi Restaurant, and I must say it's a haven for authentic Mughlai cuisine. The chicken fry was a delightful experience, with each bite revealing juicy and tender flavors. The mutton karhai was a true masterpiece, brimming with rich spices and succulent meat. To end the meal on a sweet note, the caramel custard was a perfect choice, offering a creamy and delectable finish to a remarkable culinary journey. Bagdadi Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving the true taste of Mughlai cuisine.

Went there with high hopes after hearing from a lot of people that this is a must visit. Experienced somewhat the opposite. We ordered crispy chicken for starters, and it was just curry cut pieces deep fried. Most of it was bone with excess oil. Had chicken boti masala and chicken bhuna for main course. The gravy for boti masala tasted sweet and had a miniscule amount of spices. The bhuna, although looked good, also had a lot of onions and carried that sweetness. Tandoori roti was soft, but it was twice the size of regular tandoori roti. For desserts, we had caramel custard and phirni. Custard was good, phirni could have been more tender.

When you enter this place you get the vibes of 80s and 90s restuarant and they have still kept it as it is to have that oldies feeling.The food is absolutely stunning and its wonderful and you can try all types of mutton and chicken.This restaurant is always full and you might have to wait a bit for your seat. So whenever you go towards gateway you can try to have your meal here i bet you will not get disappointed for sure Must visit place for everyone

Entered this place with a lot of expectations. I won't say the food wasn't good but its definitely wasn't great. Had the Chicken Leg Masala. The curry was nice and simple and went well with the Khameeri Roti. The mutton biryani was decent. Overall tasted like a good dhaba meal. Nothing more.

The culinary team at Bagdadi truly excels in delivering authentic and mouthwatering Mughlai cuisine. Every dish I ordered was packed with rich, aromatic flavors that left my taste buds dancing with joy. One particular standout was the Chicken Kadai. The chicken was incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned, making it a true delight to savor. Also, the Roti served here is incredibly good. As far as desserts are concerned, Firni & Caramel Custard were extremely delicious and I was drooling all over it till it lasted. The ambiance of the restaurant is worth mentioning as well. The interior decor creates a nostalgic atmosphere. While my experience at Bagdadi Restaurant was undoubtedly wonderful, there were a couple of minor hiccups that prevent me from giving it a full five-star rating. There's a room for improvement qs far as their service is concerned but nonetheless, these issues were minimal compared to the overall excellence of the establishment. I highly recommend paying a visit to Bagdadi and indulging in their delightful culinary offerings whenever you are in Mumbai!

This restaurant is located just a lane behind the The Tajmahal Hotel Colaba. Have been visiting this restaurant for more than a decade and there is no changes in the taste in their food served. Love their chicken fry served with a fried boiled potato is enough to have it with their khameeri soft rotis and doesn't require any other side dish.
