Baevu is rustic and that is it's appeal. Come here if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and don't expect typical resort type facilities as that's not what it is about. We enjoyed the greenery, the quiet, the rural set up, rustic cottages and the night sky. It's on the edge of the forest so that's a bonus.
Great weekend gateway in big group. Beautiful village set up. Awesome view with surrounding hills and greenary. Fresh food, lots of activities for the kids. 2.5 hours comfortable drive from Bangalore.
One of the best experiences around Bangalore. The entire resort is sustainable and environment friendly like I've never seen. The village vibes are unmatched with every detail in every corner so evident. The food was very delicious and homely. The activities provided are good enough for a day and most conveniently spread out for two days. Yes, the road leading to the resort is not exactly a road but more like a path but the experience made up for it. Very kid friendly too with a lot of things to do. We went in the peak of summer and walking long distancesq no was tiring but it would be nicer in other seasons I assume.
A serene and peaceful getaway with a lovely and nostalgic karnataka village vibe, with abundant fruit bearing trees, a long and lovely walking path, a good clean swimming pool, local cattle pen and lovely food to behold with a caring staff tgat ensures a pleasant stay that would enhace experience of a quite tech free stay. Highly recommended for families and a group of friends.
Went there with folks from office. Fantastic place and food. The property is huge, be prepared to walk a bit. They do provide cycles as well.
