BADRIYA RESTAURANT - Featured Reviews (186)
Everything was good the ambience, food, and service. But I felt the mutton biryani was little overpriced and the quantity was very small . But the taste was great and I would recommend chicken ghee roast and parota for lunch
Food is really good , no doubt. I highly recommend chichen ghee roast and Mutton fry(gravy) with parota . Ghee rice is also good . Fish curry and fry. But prices are on the higher side. They also have tikka and shawarma in the evening . Service is okay, there is only 1 guy to serve but he does the job. The ambience is almost 0. It's still the same for years, old style indoors. They can do some upgrades . Giving 4 stars only because of food .
Had gone here at around 9pm in the evening for dinner. From the outside it looks like a good restaurant, but on the inside its like a shack. Dirty. When we asked what was on the menu the guy started naming all the items but when we actually ordered a specific dish he said it wasn't available. I highly do not recommend this place.
In a town like koppa we are getting good food at a reasonable rate in comparison to cities. One should try fish and chicken ghee roast event mutton masala was way too good , I would have even more appreciated if the quantity was little more.
Place is good. But better you discuss the prices in the menu. As some the price shown is just the half for the product mentioned in the menu. Rest everything is good.
I had mutton chaps, chicken ghee roast(one piece deep fried chicken), chicken kabab(5 small pieces of fried chicken), and porotta. And a small bottle of pepsi. I will come to this bottle of pepsi towards the end of this review. Meat overall both chicken and mutton: very good, properly cooked and tender. Mutton chaps: average Ghee roast chicken: average. I didn't taste any ghee in it. It tasted like a regular oil deep fried chicken. Chicken kabab: Also tasted exactly like the deep fried chicken but in small pieces. Porotta: Tasted very good, freshly cooked. But it was nowhere close to the layered porotta that you usually get in Kerala. About the rates: I feel the rates are pretty high for a place like Koppa. You can see it from the photo of the bill. Now the most interesting part: They charged me Rs.25 for a 250ml bottle of Pepsi with MRP Rs.20. That is 25% more than the MRP. Upon asking they gave me reasons like they are getting the bottle from the company with this increased price, company is yet to print the updated price on the bottle etc. My opinion: Avoid this place.
For a 2 piece fish they charge 150 And a single piece ghee roast 140 A place like that with this cost I don't think it's worth and service was not up to the mark Notable: food was good
Ordered chicken tandoori(4 pieces) and 2 parota. For one person its 300inr. And food was delicious .
Excellent place. One of the best doctor I've been to. He also runs an excellent ashram for patients to stay and do detox and all treatments. Got sinus problems fixes. Very famous for arthritis issues and most other problems. Doctor does detailed diag
It's a calm and quiet residential area. Close to mother nature but on the highway side. Just around 1km from the town. It's a good place to stay after your retirement or during your vacation.
Honey in its pure form and with reasonable price. The place is hygienic and the people (Mr. Krishnamurthy in particular) are friendly. If you are interested, they're happy to explain how things work around honey. They also accept UPI based payment.
