This is situated at chamoli district (uttarakhand). This is a temple of Lord badrinath ( lord vishnu ) . You will see high altitude hills their, in winter this temple is closed due to heavy snow fall. The route scenery is mesmerising , in that way you will see chopta ( feel like switzerland ) , every different time in year you will see difference scenery of himalaya and hills ( snowy himalayan peaks )

One should come to this Temple once in their life time. Such a divine & holyplace.
The most prominent festival held at Badrinath Temple is Mata Murti Ka Mela, which commemorates the descent of the river Ganges on mother earth. The mother of Badrinath, who is believed to have divided the river into twelve channels for the welfare of earthly beings, is worshiped during the festival. The place where the river flowed became the holy land of Badrinath. The Badri Kedar festival is celebrated during the month of June in both the temple and the Kedarnath temple. The festival lasts for eight days; artists from all over the country perform during the function
Connected fully by road and people are really nice... Good food , cool temp, hot spring Temple in itself has history of being modified but require no introduction However one can see clear signs of brutal destruction of scenic landscape during the approach to temple... Trees wiped of due to which land slide... Dam kind structures being made...
Peaceful place with beautiful nature
Original pics attached , powerful place . Come to feel the power of Vishnu Bhagwan
