Mathura is famous for its mouth watering food especially chats. In my recent visit to Mathura, I came across this cute joint which sells chats with quirky names like ghtiya lassi, baadnaam alu tikki, beshram chilla etc. Everything is cooked in desi ghee and tastes very good. Due to small lanes, the sitting area is very small. Most of the time you have to stand and eat but the people there are very friendly as they offer to sit. In your next visit to Mathura do try this joint - I am sure you will love it.
Food items are really good but not worth going here or any places nearby since the gutter water passes from the front of every shop so it stinks filthy and you can't enjoy food at any shop. Better to get it packed and eat somewhere else peacefully.
This place is good for fast food, It was so close to SHREE BANKE BIHARI TAMPLE. To reach this place just go straight from SHREE BANKE BIHARI TAMPLE. You can fill up your tummy then continue for straight then you'll reach SHREE RADHA VALLABH TAMPLE. Both tamples have too much crowd so I'm suggesting you to try visit in Morning time.
I have tried paneer cheela, lassi. People are good around. They serve it fresh. Its kind of live kitchen. The sauces they serve are pretty good. Its definitely worth a try. Though its heavy and makes you thirsty since its made with ghee.
The place is so conjusted even the smoke is everywhere in there shop. People are fool as well as fell uneasy sitting there.

Authentic tasty aaloo tikki chaat. Lassi also gives you feelings on another level. You can try dhokla and dahi-bada as well. Pani-puri can also be enjoyed although there are a lot of better shops for pani-puri.
