Still a hidden gem and secluded from tourists. The sunsets here are just the escape you'll want. You can also spot a lot of birds in the area and it is peaceful and quiet.
If you're the one who loves to do a small hike and reach the destination to get such a view, then you must visit Badi Lake in Udaipur. Watch the sunrise with your friends and enjoy this incredible view from the top. The way to this lake also has beautiful scenic views to add up to the trip.
It's a scenic view place. Out side of udaipur. Rainy season is beautiful here. We went there early morning. Peaceful and calm place . You can sit here for hours. Also there is a garden that was closed at that time. Must go place . No tickets no time bound.
Very nice place, only 15 minutes drive from Udaipur. If you go to the ghat the entrance is 15 rupees, and the entrance to the bhalidali hilks is 10 rupees. Some people swim here, but for us the water did not seem clean enough so we passed. But its very quiet place, not many people or tourists and surrounded by big green hills
We went during sunset. The sky and the lake were really pretty. The place was very serene. There were just a couple of locals so not at all crowded or super touristy. Great place to sit back and enjoy the view amid nature. There was supposed to be a better view from where we sat higher up. From where the entire lake is visible. We realised this after we were back. Recommend you to figure how to reach there and grab that view too. We loved our view as well!
Great place. about 13 kms from udaipur. The auto driver asked me 500 to drop me at this place and also drop me back. i was thinking that the auto would go up the hill called bahubali or badi hill. Only after i went there i realised that i have to trek up the hill on a narrow path for nearly 1 km to reach the top. I went half way and was about to give up and come back. but the driver saw me struggling and walked up to back me up. while climbing down he leant a hand at difficult places. i am 66 years old. For young people it would be very easy. Thanks to the driver that i was able to go up and enjoy the great view.
I recently visited Udaipur and this location is a must visit. This place is also called Bahubali Hill. You need to trek for 15 min to see this great majestic Lake view from the top. The best time to visit this place in the evening is to capture the sunset. You will get tea, nimbu pani and maggi points while trekking to the top.
It's an artificial lake built by maharajah of Udaipur in the village of Badi. It is located around 12 km from the city. It is less known place so u will get a calm and serene environment and no hustle bustle. Although it's not a big tourist attraction but u want to enjoy some tranquil moments of peace from city life, you should definitely go for it. There is hill top beside the lake, called bahubali hill by locals, u can also track there and get an astonishing view of the lake and surrounding hills.
