View is extremely awesome with a great calmness and peace not that crowded and have a paid parking area with just nominal charge f 10-20 rupees accordingly and ticket of it is also 10-15 rupee per person you cn enjoy a great view of badi talab and bahubali hill just infront of you. And especially in monsoon the view and the hills looks great and awesome view
Good view, a small 300 mtr stretch where you can hand around and click some pics. A small garden, Lake view and that's it. Nothing much if you expect, but lots of space to sit and enjoy the view peacefully. Nothing for kids, so they may not enjoy view for long.
Beautiful location for nature lovers.
Beautiful and peaceful getaway from the busy city. Also, it is much more peaceful than the highly touristic fatehsagar lake of the city. I highly recommend you this place if you are along with your friends or group of family members. Some places around the lake could be notorious as there has been some crimes which have had happend their so do pay attention to it.
It's a beautiful place created by the rajasthan government to improve the experience of tourist at badi lake. The lake is part of a biological reserve, hence please don't enter the lake and keep it clean. The charge is just rupees 15 and you can park your vehicle outside(though no guarantee of security) There is a small canteen where you can buy water. You may find couples making out, please ignore them and let them enjoy their life.
Very nice and quiet. 15 rupees per person.
Badi Lake/Pal/Taalaab by locals or Big Lake by the tourists, as popularly known, is little away from the main Udaipur City and by travelling through some villages. As a tourist/traveller noticed two different routes, one from the side of Sajjan Garh Fort/Monsoon Palace through broken, bumpy, narrow, villages road and one through a good well tarred State Highway route (November 2021). A very beautiful serene location, far more calmer, eyes & mind soothing place than any tourist location in Udaipur City. Lake viewing passage is well made and floored, from the vehicle parking side. An Entry Fee is payable to enter the space. The lake water is calm and cleaner. One can easily see fishes touching the shore. Appears water is pumped out of the Lake for nearby irrigation and other purposes. Few canopies with seating benches are made available to sit, watch, relax, photograph the surrounding nature beauty. Thankfully no hawkers/ vendors are seen around for good. However, the toilets are not available on the site as one has to go little further for the facility. The local Gramin Panchayat (Local Caretakers Body) signage can be seen at the Lake welcoming and instructing visitors for do's and don'ts. Appears not many people visit the place which looks like blessings in disguise. Tourists/travellers can easily include this Lake and Sajjangarh Fort/ Monsoon Palace in their day trip itinerary from Udaipur with taxi/cab/auto rickshaw. Do carry drinking water and snacks as you may require them. Good for family, group and solo trip.
Serene and Beautiful.. For us this is the best lake in Udaipur where you can actually swim. Every other lake was dirty. Hopefully this place will retain its beauty in the future. God knows you know
Still a hidden gem and secluded from tourists. The sunsets here are just the escape you'll want. You can also spot a lot of birds in the area and it is peaceful and quiet.
