Good place to browse and drive along with friends, family and loved ones. Very nice natural beauty mostly suitable to visit during monsoons as this entire stretch is full of greenery and trees surrounding.

Beautiful and serene place. You can definitely spend best time here with family, friends, and loved ones. If coming with family you can have a good time over here. Towards birds watching point, the road is really very nice, literally tree tunnel and make you feel more in love with this place.

Went there just for a small ride in the evening without much expectation that too in the month of summer. But BOY! How much it suprised us! It was so calm and breath taking. So peaceful with no one around. We were just lying there looking at the open sky. Unexpectedly wonderful! I will go there again during rainy season to witness something more marvelous.

The place is a good weekend hangout spot among the locals at all seasons although during monsoon it sees more crowd. Everyone is like filming for their insta post every monsoon out here. The road stretch reaching to dam's gate is covered by blissful lush green cover, with a variety of flora and fauna which are reserved here in the mountain's forest area. Drive a car safely you'll enjoy the downhills and uphills and the blind turns out here, very cool soothing chirps of birds audible throughout your long drive and the tour. The thing I disliked about this place was the insensible and irresponsible visitors who come and do boozing leave their trash bottles and caps here and there in vicinity and nobody there to clean the mess after their visit. People who come for capturing birds in the reserved forest area are certainly gonna spot some amazing species, but just need to be patient it is not futile the wait. Also couples and family friendly modern hutments and shades are there for the visitors to rest in and enjoy the view of the calm waters of the dam. Along the drive you'll find a few eateries with snacking items on the go so not to worry but careful please if with kids do bring your own food don't rely on roadside assistance. You can chill out in water as well but again stay alert. Do not miss the sunset, it is worth to do when outing to a one day picnic spot like this. Roads are good no bumpy drive, rest assured. This is another place in outskirts of Mumbai for the enthusiasts to be in harmony with nature here. A caution to watch out your steps for tiny insects in shrubs when you walk as they may be poisonous and medical aid is available at a distance not so near, hence avoid unknown bites by wearing properly covered shoes.

Love the scenic drive through the woods. Love the roads in between the jungle Very calm and quiet with bird's tweet. Best time to visit is monsoon specially. The dam is huge. Will try to visit again soon.

The place is very calm and peaceful always. The dam backwater is very serene in all seasons. It is a decent place to be with family and friends. The roads are also well developed and photography can be enjoyed as there is very minimal ferrying of cars in this locality since its in the outskirts of city.Try to get here during sunrise and you will get good shots.

This place is breezy and cool. Has a nice weather. Best time to visit is in monsoon but since I was in Kalyan in summers so happen to go here.. even then there was a good amount of water in the Barvi River and it was a great place to hangout with friends and family ..water was clean and cool

It's a good place you see while passing.. some small eating and tea shacks are around.. but nothing special to visit travelling from far off.. it's a outing place for local people. You can't enter the Dam area it's from the road you see it..
