This is an excellent spot for spending time with loved ones. The area is undergoing renovations to improve its accessibility to visitors. Visitors will soon be able to use facilities such as restrooms and a food court. The parking fee is approximately Rs. 50. To make the most of your experience, it is recommended that you bring additional clothing.
Place is recently renovated, not fully complete yet. Good sitting places created to watch waterfall. Picnic spots are also very good. May be they can add boating facility there to enhance attraction further.
Badaghagra waterfall adjacent to Keonjhar town is a most spectacular waterfall situated amidst in a lush green forest environment. The waterfall enjoys a unique characteristics of 100 feet height inside the dense forest area to the much delight of tourists, picnicors & weekend holidayer alike. Badaghagra reservoir which was raised on Machakandana river during the Kingdom era is the major source of water supplies to the Keonjhar town. The spot is rich in exotic flora & fauna and rare place for study of tribal life. This spot is just 10 km away from Keonjhar town.
Nice place. No entry fee needed. Here is also kalibari and dam. You can also visit the dam here. The view from the dam was awesome.

The waterfall is nestled around 1km,from the main high-way.The roads were newly constructed,the time we visited that place. The entire edits goes to the 'contractor' he allowed us to enter,we took a de-tour with most no-one in that route. Note:It's recommended that you visit the place as early as possible,as there are chances of over-crowding,which would gobble up most of your time. It's one of the major attraction in keonjhar,adding up a few photos for reference. Best time to visit-Monsoon and Winter. Advisable to visit these places during monsoon,where the falls would be in full swing.
A small waterfall near keonjhar. This place has 2 routes through which you can visit. During my visit one of the roads was closed due to renovation work. I found local people taking a bath in the waterfall. The place is away from the locality in the lap of nature and is not crowded at all. There are no business establishments of any size at this place. I had to walk 200-300m from the spot where our vehicle was parked(there is no designated parking place).
Apart from just a waterfall, the floating platform in front of it, makes this really attractive. You can reach the falling water. No inhibition on the pet entry. Near the fall, there is a Dam which is extremely scenic. A must go.
