Bada Dev - Kamrunag Temple - Hindu temple in Kamru Nag - Mandi, India

I recently visited Kamrunag Dev temple and was absolutely mesmerized by its beauty. The temple is dedicated to Kamrunag Dev. Kamrunag Dev temple holds a special place in Hindu mythology and history. Visiting the temple, I couldn't help but feel the strong connection to the ancient tales and legends that surround it. The temple itself is beautifully crafted and exudes a sense of spirituality and serenity. In addition to its architectural beauty, the natural surroundings of the temple are equally impressive. The temple is located near a stunning lake and surrounded by majestic mountains and tree's that add to the already serene atmosphere of the temple. However, it is important to note that the temple is closed during the winter months from November to January Feb due to heavy snowfall. So, if you plan to visit, make sure to check the opening hours and plan your visit accordingly.

I was there on 16 June 2016. What an experience it was. Very peaceful place you can find inner peace here. The trek is good but it was difficult during monsoon season. The beauty and inner peace of this place attracts thousands of devotees during the saawan. Jai ho Bada dev kamrunag ji ki

It is said that there is a treasure hidden underwater which belongs to the Mahabharata period and is visible but can not be touched. The temple of the KamruNag deity is also established near the KamruNag lake. If we believe in ancient beliefs, this treasure is protected by the Nagraj of the temple. A fair is organized every year in this temple of nagas in the month of juneduring which ritualistic serpents are also worshipped.According to local people, no one is able to take the treasure from KamruNag lake. Though there were many hypothesis to explain the origin, according to old beliefs once a British man tried to extract gold from this lake but he failed and became very ill. Another belief is that a snake-like tree surrounds this mountain and If someone puts his hand in the treasures of this lake, locals say that these trees are snake deities and come in their true form. The best time to visit KamruNag Temple is during any day of the year but the apt time for witnessing the divine aura is in the month of June. A three-day fair is organized and numerous pilgrims visit the site to seek the blessings of Lord Kamrunag.

What a amzing place , Kamrunaag temple , A mind blowing view, and mountains, I feel like that I can spend maximum time.

Very old and beautiful temple located near lake in the middle of jungle. From Rohanda, the trek starts and after 3 to 4 hours you reach the temple. Very beautiful trek.

Awsome location but difficult to track in Monsoon

Hindu temple top on the Hill at Mandi District Himachal Pradesh.Hardly 6kms trekking to reach the destination from the main road. Temple of mysteries must have to visit once in life.
