Bada danda. Place infront of lord jagannath temple . It's the huge open space right infront of the temple. Which can accomodate 3 big chariot during rath yatra or chariot festival. Along with 3 chariot it can also accomodate 1/1.5 lacks of people in thi much place. Suna besa or golden costume of lord jagannath is also done here

There's no description of Badadanda or the Grand road. It is also called the divine Lap of Mahaprabhu shree Jagganath swami. On Ratha jatra lakhs and lakhs of devotees swarm in this badadanda. There's a divine pleasure to walk on it.

The road is huge but then also govt put on barricades , you just can't normally walk on the BADA DANDA on hot summer days , otherwise your feets may turn into kebab . Jokes apart, obey the rules maintain discipline, keep your things at your risk , lots of thieves are around you but you may won't know .
