Worst experience ever, I'm traveller and I mostly prefer backpackers, bunk bed since it's convenient for new person to the city 1) there ac gets off at 6 am and they switch on back by 7 pm, these ppl never told about such thing, you will get to know once u pay in advance and stay there 2) not at all hygienic- common area would help u to explain better it's pillow and sofa has visible dirt. I made a huge mistake you shouldn't since I paid money prior 3) they don't provide hand wash, there was no handwash in the bathroom. Bottle was empty 4)we got in trap by paying advance, worst was sikh people are known for helpful gesture my flight was late night so I vacant my bed but my bf paid till next day. Reception guy dint allow me to wait in common area although I wasn't unknown to him he was rude and tone was really insulting I will never ever recommend anyone to make mistake what I did to stay here and pay in advance 5) staff is rude not at all friendly 6) clothes are drying on random wall wires

Stayed for 2 days but this place is Very unhygienic. Beds are full with bedbugs . No cleanliness at all. Staff is not at all helping. I would not recommend to any one . In the same amount can stay in good hotel.

The rooms are small and so are bathroom, they were charging 30rs. Per water bottle which is so offputting, the space is limited and bathrooms are small as well, but the cleanliness of rooms and bathrooms is nice, fine for 1-2 day stay

Hi Everyone, I dont recommend this place (Backpackers, near JB nagar metro station, Andheri, Mumbai) for a stay unless you are setting your expectations very low. I think I made mistake by relying on past good reviews. I know it's designated as a hostel, but dont think that gives it a right to charge more and under deliver on experience. 1) I took a private room and was alloted room named as 'sealink' on first floor. It had cockraches and ants. 2) The rain water came in the room through walls. 3) Really bad storage space for hanging your clothes. 4) No basic toiletries like bathing soap provided in the room. 5) Bed sheets and pillow covers with stains. Most likely with food spillover stains because the room doesn't have a proper place to have food. 6) No drinking water provided as a part of room booking. 7) AC is controlled centrally and it is switched on only after 7pm and switched off at 10 am. The entire place stinked like crazy on my way from receiption to my room. Just sharing this review to ensure they upgrade the place and services, so they meet the basic expectations of travellers.

I don't recommend this place very small and there is no good service available, u don't even get tissue and mid night just randomly some one come into Room just to switch off the light, and place was so scary to be single girl please find the safest place to stay

Best place for short trip. Easy access to metro, local train and good hotels near place

The merits of this location are - it is very close to chakala metro station - good street food is available just outside. This hostel has approximately 70 dorm beds plus one private room. I spent 3 days here and the experience was quite disheartening. Considering the price I paid, 2287 INR, the demerits were many - the staff appeared clueless - stricter hygiene and discipline are required - dirty bedsheets were dumped in a corner - empty cigarette boxes and other junk could be seen lying around - the night light and the charging point were not functional and they changed my bed - I wanted an extra blanket which was unavailable - it took a long time for my wifi to get activated. Rating 2/5.
