The food was tasty, delicious. Got the real taste of bengali food. Will take my bengali friends next time. And had a conversation about food with Baphi... got an idea to order an try tasty mutton kosha...and the service is good. Will visit again soon.
The hotel was clean and the room service was impeccable, all of the staff was very nice (especially Bafi she was very sweet and she really cares about the customers and very sincere), caring and friendly the food is very nice the bathrooms are also clean. Hot water is also available. Overall best hotel experience in shillong
I have a wonderful experience with this place. Since 2006 I know this place and believe me the food quality has never been compromised. It becomes better and better . The staff are well mannered and very polite. Today after 2 years I visited Baba Restaurant and for me if I am in shillong then I can't miss eating at this place. I met a new manager her name was BAFI, she was very good and very humble. While we were eating she took my baby so that we can eat properly. That was a very kind gesture. So visit this place once if you have been to shillong.
My friend and i visited the restaurant for lunch. The waiter Rubel Deb was polite and courteous, food came promptly, and the food was absolutely delicious. Hats off to the chef Mr Pal. Will definitely be visiting again soon

Had a very pleasant stay. The cottage is very well maintained and furnished. Rooms were neat and clean. The owner of the property,Mr Darell is very soft spoken and helpful. Overall the stay was very cozy. Highly recommended.
We had a lovely stay at this property. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was top notch. Indian, khasi food and continental. Did not use the pool. But was looked very nice. Had great drinks and dinner at poolside bar.

You will actually feel like you are staying at home. I have visited Mawlynnong 3 times and every time I stayed in this homestay. Superb neat and clean place with decent basic eating options nearby.
