Place of historical value, only place in whole of Northern India where you can put Alcohol and get alcohol as Prasad 60ml.

Strange but interesting rituals of this place. A holyland serving wine as tradition. Incredible India!

Place is good but there are so many begger around the temple.. who are asking for money and never let you go to temple before paying them...

It's a nice place to visit in my village It's all about a saint baba roda g Many a people use to visit it daily.. The views near it are very beautiful. You can even photo shoot here. It has a canal flowing beside. A main fair gets organised on 23 and 24 of March.

Historical divotional place...Baba Rode Shah, who belonged to Dhavaan village of Gurdaspur district, had left his family and settled here at the site of the samadhi in 1896. Legend goes that the baba was once approached by a farmer of this village who, despite being married for a couple of years, was issueless. With the blessing of the baba, a male child was born to the couple, who offered a sum of Rs 500 to the baba for having blessed them. But the baba refused to accept the money and asked the couple to purchase a bottle of liquor everyday and offer it as 'prasad' to his devotees. This practice continued till they offered liquor worth Rs 500.

Religious places which offer liquor or alcohol as prasad are not religious places actually. People who follow this blind stupid ritual are the foolish ones .

Baba rodha ji was a saint he meditated in village bhoma continuously for 12 years and died in October 1924. An annual fair is being organized every year on 22th to 24th of march at his BIRTHDAY. wine and whiskey is distributed as prashad. But baba rodha ji was not in favour of drinking wine or alcohol. But people nowadays are following this illegal and illitrated trend here.
