As a boy Jagjiwan Das Sahib could not get his school education in formal ways due to adverse circumstances of the period he belonged. But the mercy of the supreme and his reverence to the Satguru made him learned and competent in spiritual attainments. His father managed a teacher for his schooling and he tried his best to teach the boy various things but the teacher himself come to his resolution that he was just revising the lessons which certifies that the boy has already been taught those facts. During the course of his schooling he uttered the following lines:- "So sain samarath hai in yah saaji banaya chim manh saaji sabai rachi leenha nahi bilamb lagayo re" keerat sagar having heard the above lines his parents and the pundit ji became stunned and the guru declared that he was already aware of the facts. At the very early age of six months only there occurred and incidence which was for more surprising. His mother got him sleep in the bed and went to kitchen for preparations Suddenly the shiva shakti descended and taking the boy in his lap, showed him fourteen lokas and put a teeka on the bright forehead of the blessed baby and disappeared. After a short while the mother came back and saw the black symbol on the forehead. She feared the black magic and started weeping bitterly. She wanted to wipe out the mark repeatedly but could not succeed. She felt consoled on the consoling advices of village women miracles became the normal happenings in the life of Sain Jagjiwan Das Sahib.
