Balak Nath mandir and jhaku temple are in front of each other in shimla
The entrance of this temple is just in front of the main entrance of Jakhu Temple's stairs starting point. Due to renovation I didn't get chance to visit this place. maybe now its open.
Small temple, not very well-maintained, bit attracts a lot of footfalls. It is located directly opposite to the Jakhu Hanuman temple. One can reach by the ropeway, by walk or by cab. The temple is surrounded by evergreen trees, so scenically it is a beautiful location.
The temple is dedicated to Lord Shri Karthikeya (Murugan in Tamil). Sidh Baba Balak Nath Temple located at Jakhu,Shimla, that temple is opposite of Hanuman Temple and Temple building is in under construction but you still able to worship there,in Temple idols of God is very beautiful, must visit place.
I love this place...because of trees..greenery everywhere... Freshwater..cool air...standard weather...and be careful...do not go far...or deep forest tracking... This is the top views point of shimla also...enjoy..happiness..wearing almost all people here..a lots of monkey's are here...and not think about night stay in the Forest area.
Nice place to visit for locals as well as for tourists. I will recommend tourists to visit this place as it covers with jakhoo temple, the famous temple of shimla hill station. Also approachable by vehicle as well on foot.
Beautiful Hanuman temple near Shimla with great views of Shimla and the valley. A very short walk from the road. The pathway to enter from the road was being constructed when we visited.
