Historical place. It is a sign of architectural excellence from the 17th century. Tickets are not required. The road to this place is too narrow, which makes accessibility difficult. There was trash on the ground, indicating that cleanliness is not maintained properly

I visited this place on the way to kaas pathar (satara) with my friends. It's an ancient water well constructed in Shivkalin era. It is said to be 100 feet deep. It's in the 'Limb' village which is around 17km from satara. Must visit if you are in satara city. Some nearby villagers have arrangements like snacks, Lunch etc.

Situated in village Limb of Satara district this is something similar to a stepwall, however it is quite astonishing. It is built by Maharani Veerubai who was the wife of Shahu Maharaj. This place is situated in a remote location with very less crowd.

This is historic place but when we visited the place we found local villagers are swimming in this well. Cleanliness is not maintained. Local Guide is available but he is not Govt. approved. Villagers should put efforts to restore and preserve this place to attract more tourists. You can get pure turmeric from villagers as it is produced there.

17th century monument. This is big well on which 12 chain pulley arrangement done on the well for extracting the water from well. This extracted water then suplied to farms, automatically through water channels.

Best place to glance at history and have the feel of how our ancestors were , wht were there believes , who were they so developed tht time , I would recommend to appoint a guide how will explain u a lot there but u can also read on website and then visit to have a good knowledgeable experience
