We were visiting Lucknow and found restaurant Azrak which is part of Lebua Hotel has great variety. Hospitality is another level. They have buffet and also serve live fresh food from menu for breakfast! Shweta, Shikha, Bipin and others were so good. Loved the place and food! I recommend anyone traveling to Lucknow.
The restaurant is a 4 star restaurant. The ambience is good. It basically serves the main course indian cuisine. The food is good. If you want to explore the Awadhi cuisine you can check this out. Not very sure of the non vegetarian options. The food served was good and the restaurant is well maintained and beautiful.
This restaurant is a hidden gem of Lucknow, it is located in the premises of the heritage hotel - Lebua. The place has amazing ambience with indoor and outdoor seating available and is just perfect for couples and families! During my stay, I had breakfast and dinner from Azrak and the food was just amazing! I tried Masala Dosa, Besan Chila, Chole Puri, Idlis to name a few from their huge breakfast buffet menu. The presentation was good and the taste was the impeccable! For dinner, I ordered Dal Sultani, Paneer Lababdar, Mix vegetable with Lachha Parantha and Butter rotis, and surely Paneer and Dal are a must try! Overall the service was flawless, the staff was courteous and adhered to all my requests. I would definitely recommend this place! Special thanks to Chef Jai Singh, Mr. Anas and Rakesh for making my food experience an absolute delight!
Calm and nice place for a fancy yet peaceful dinner / lunch date. Food is good, very nice ambiance and decor.
Visited Azrak with family for dinner. The place from the start looked great, ambience and vibe was very nice. However, unfortunately it ended there. While we didn't mind the 35-40 min wait, when we got the table, it was way too cold to like. We requested the staff at least 4-5 times to adjust the temperature of the AC above our table and everytime they smiled and said 'sure' and then somehow it kept getting cooler. We were all feeling the change of weather a bit and wanted to avoid spicy food. So we asked the server multiple times what food options would be good with low spice level. The one we finally ended up order was Methi Bhutte ke Kebab. It was super hot, the ginger and black pepper over powered everything and we ate drowning our glasses of water. Thankfully the main course was good, we ordered Malai Anjeer ke Kofte and Dal Azrak with Lachha, Warqi and Anardane paratha. The server took our orders at the beginning and disappeared for a long time, never checking in how we were doing. The person who served was super distracted and served and took the bowl away while we called for him. The finger bowls at the end had hot water for one person and cold for the rest. The orders took forever to arrive. Overall a very lousy service. For the kind of money you're paying, this is hardly an experience.
Service was rude. Atmosphere boring. Food- don't get me started. Can't comment on the non vegetarian options but clearly either the chef was in a real bad mood, or some amateur had cooked my order or the food was simply bad. I went with my family to celebrate my brother's birthday. My mother and I ordered vegetarian dishes. Two starters- dry fruits/fig (anjeer) stuffed panner and malai broccoli. The stuffing in the paneer was negligible. Raw broccoli coated with salted cream was served to us. The portion of the starters was 4 cubes of paneer and 4 small tendons of broccoli. Surprisingly thekon vegetarian starters portion was better and more than sufficient for 3 members of my family. The main course had two items. We wanted to order Soya chap dish which apparently was spicy and we were told that there will be no alterations and adjustments that could be made. Inspite of informing me that we don't like bland food and all he has to do is reduce the red chilli which anywhich ways is put later in the dish, we were told that it's not possible. Then on the waiter's recommendation we ordered Malai Anjeer Kofta (mind u we don't like bland food) and 1 piece tandoor roti and 1 piece of Lachcha paratha. The malai anjeer kofta was so salty that we could not gulp it down our throat. But the portion was fine 4 pieces of reasonable sized koftas. We asked them to fix it. The dish which came back on the table wasn't the same kofta that we received earlier. They were smaller, with no filling whatsoever and it tasted some vegetable balls coated in refined flour and dipped in the malai. Also they added the malai and sugar to balance out the salt. We could feel the sugar granules while we are the first bite of the so called FIXING of the dish. From bland it became a sweet dish. The heights of the audacity was when my sister in law very calmly gave her the feedback that the vegetarian dishes didn't match up to our expectations the manager don't only ignored but turned his back and left. The non veg dishes were ok and at least edible. Highly disappointed and I was told that it's a 4 star hotel. I wonder which deciding committee gave them 4stars when the other restaurants are serving better dish with better service and pricing. I am paying to be served a delicious dish served with decency and politeness. Highly disappointed and would never recommend anyone to go to Azrak. The ambience and music is boring. You will feel as you are on call wait when u call up any customer care service. That's the kind of music they play. Ohh by the way forgot to mention, when we called to book the table, they said it's walk in. When we entered, we were told that we need to book the table. And my father who's partially unable to move around had to stand and wait. The order was placed at 9:32pm and we were told the starters will come in 20miutes. It came after 40mins. There was no apology or remorse from the server's end. AZRAK claimed itself to be fine done restaurant. It's a evidently NOT A FINE DINE experience for any of my family members or me. This is my first ever review of a restaurant becaus re not only was the food distasteful but the service and ambience was atrocious. I wish I could give minus rating.
Azrak, an Awadhi cuisine restaurant in Lucknow, is a hidden gem that delivers an exceptional dining experience. The food at Azrak is extraordinary, with authentic Awadhi flavors that tantalize the taste buds. The biryanis, kebabs, and curries are perfectly balanced in flavor and texture, creating a symphony of culinary delights. The staff at Azrak is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They made us feel welcome and provided excellent service throughout our visit. A special mention goes to Chef Suraj, who took great care of us and ensured that our dining experience was memorable. The ambiance of the restaurant is a perfect blend of elegance and comfort. The decor is adorned with traditional Awadhi motifs, creating a charming atmosphere that transports you to the royal era of Awadh. Soft lighting and soothing music add to the overall experience. In conclusion, Azrak is a must-visit for anyone seeking an extraordinary dining experience in Lucknow. The food, flavors, and textures are exceptional, and the staff, especially Chef Suraj, go above and beyond to make your visit unforgettable.
Quite similar to Taj ambience wise, but definatily better in taste. We ordered Azrak dal, paneer khata pyaaz, and warqi paratha and all of it were good. The tamatar shorba however war disappointing.
Just like how treasures are usually hidden, this place looks hidden in a busy street near high court guest house. And this is one of the few places which serve fresh Awadhi delicacy! The ambience makes you feel like you are a guest in a big house and
