It is Located close to Nileshwar in kasargod District, the Azhithala Beach is the place where the Tejaswini River meets the Arabian Sea. It is an unspoiled and quiet beach ideal for long, beach walks and enjoying the seashore. Bus service is available from both kanhangad and Nileshwar to azithala beach. Make sure that you travel by the bus. It's cheaper. Go for it
The beach is not crowded and very peaceful, only the walk towards the beach is a bit long and is advisable to have a company of 2-3 people to go there. The water is clean and the sunset view was amazing.

Azhitala is an hidden bueauty in Kasargod District. Most of the people don't know about this place and there are less visitors here. The river Tejaswini is joining to Arabian sea at this point. There are two banks south and north. South side can be reached from Cheruvathur and North can be reached from Nileshwaram. Because we cannot cross the river.Pine trees and small ground is added bueauty. Nice place for picnic. Few Buses are available from Nileshwaram to Azhitala. Better bring a vehicle because for return it will be difficult.Government is not promoted Azhitala so much as tourist place. So this will not be available in tourist maps. Most of Photo and video shooting for marriage video done here. Dress changing rooms are available for very low rent(Rs.30) Any time you can visit here. Avoid Rainy season because huge tide may occur.
Must visit place!Very beautiful place But better come in groups.Very less people are present.Also the roads to this place is very narrow.

A sleepy little village near the confluence of Tejaswini river n Arabian sea... the river, sea n the sunset makes this a special place... The walk on the pathway(pulimuttu) made of rock pile makes for a blissful experience with water crashing onto the rocks on one side, while the other side has the gentle, serene tejaswini river....
