Mohamed shaikh the attendant is a rock star. May his tribe increase. Good food. Excellent service by all. Neat and clean. Cheap prices. The Kotthu Paratha, Idli podi and Paratha Korma is so mind blowing and authentic. One of the few places in Mumbai where you get this. Go to the AC room upstairs for 10 Rs more per dish to avoid the noise down. Unmissable !!!
Littrely one of the best south Indian breakfast restaurant at my place. I regularly go there & tried all dishes. It tastes really delicious & most important thing is it's cost. All dishes are at reasonable price. Just loved it !!!!
A good place for localities for having south indian dishes . Very small place, sitting for just 15-20 people at one time . Taste is overall Good. The taste of the chutney gives a special touchup to the dishes ,dont forget to the taste the orange chutney . Must try DILKHUSH DOSA, CURD IDLI and Masla Idli. Staff is very good and friendly. Also try Tea it has a unique taste .
Authentic Tamilian food in Mumbai!! Everything was super yummy, dosas and puliyodarai were too good. I'm not a thali person, but theirs is a must have- recommends a thali person. Bit crowded and less space- so come for the food- ambience is ok ok.
Poor food quality, taste was worst. I ordered Chilli idli but delivered manchurian idli, that too very salty. Horrible experience. 2nd time it is happening to me , the cook always preparing manchurian idli too much salty, restaurant charging 145 rs for it, but not bothered about customers satisfaction, serving worst food to customer
One of best South Indian restaurants I have been to in Mumbai. One added benefit is they are more of a Tamil restaurant and most of the guys from Kerala and Tamil Nadu will find at ease compared to the Uduppi or mangalorian restaurants. ( trust me their Sambar is not sweet ). We had tried dining and of course ordering from them a couple of times with my wife and we loved it. Seating is a bit crammed though, which is nothing new in Mumbai
Great place to have authentic, nominal clean south indian food. The Kerala parrotta is just mouth watering. They do take orders from swiggy but only within a 5 km radius. The podi idli is also good. Top it off with mind-blowing filter coffee. A meal for 2 would cost somewhere between 200 to 250 bucks. Overall a fantastic place for authentic South Indian vegetarian fare. On some level, this is better than the overrated Madras cafe or ramsharya. The place closes at 1130 pm, which is actually cool for hostel dwellers who can come down at night for a late meal.
