Ayyanakere Park - Park in Sakarayapattana, Kamenahallikaval - Chikkamagaluru, India

This lake is extremely pleasant with 100m stretch walk. Has a pool created after the water overflows the dam but riskly and many a times not allowed by authority but good place to play in waters if allowed. Has a kids play park with great facility but pathetically maintained.

Place is scenic. Lake View is beautiful. At the end there is water flow where you can get into water. Approach road is little narrow. There is enough parking space.

Ayyanakere Lake is one of the second biggest lakes in Karnataka. It is such a place that you shouldn't miss whenever you visit Chikmagalur. It is one of the sought-after attractions that invite people to spend some good quality time with loved ones or with friends far away from the maddening crowd. Perfect for solo travelers, couples, and groups of friends, Ayyanakere Lake presents a delightful experience that you will cherish for a lifetime. Here you can spend time mainly for the sunset and also can be visited in the morning to start the day. There won't be any charges for this place even though you will not get more pace for the parking but it's manageable.

Need to add many more attractions like boating, swimming, and other water sports. Road to ayyanakere park is good full of greenery.

Quaint little place on the way to Chikmagalur is great to visit. There is car parking available but it is small. The roads are narrow as it goes through the countryside/ coconut gardens. The place is just a lake and some benches to sit. The place is quite and peaceful with great views. If you have time and want a visit a peaceful place this one it is.

Quite a scenic place with untouched beauty on display. Visit during evening or early morning will give good views, with vibrant natural colours during sunrise or sunset. There's a mountain right next to Lake, it looks like exactly what we used to draw during our childhood.

This is one of the most beautiful places in Chikmagalur. A tourist must include it in your list to enjoy nature. Keep it clean.

Maintenance is in Progress at the entrance and once you get inside you will love the corner end actually. The view will be lovely one
