This is so adorable I love that place there is our kuldevi maa awahdevi
Jai Mata di Awah devi temple is one of the Hindu religious places of the local deity. The mesmerizing location of this temple makes it very attractive and full of positive energy. The shops in and around of the temple are in a very close vicinity. There is multiple access to Awah devi temple. One side towards Awah devi bus stand. Other towards Hamirpur road. Another towards lambloo. There are free toilet service available around temple. The fresh drinking water is available at free of cost. There is a famous story about Maa Awah devi also called as Jalpa devi. About 250 years back there is stone which hit by farmer and blood came started pouring in. There is tussle between people of Mandi and Hamirpur district for belongingness of this. When people started taking this to Mandi they got blind. Again they tried. Finally they arrived on agreement to place this Almighty stone at this place. And from that day local people celebrate devi as their Kul or clan's deity. The Awah devi temple is at highest place of Hamirpur district. It is around 25 km from district Hamirpur and regular bus service is available here from and to Delhi. There is no restrictions on photography. Post renovation the whole structure is transformed into a wonderful creation. There are various shops for Prasad at affordable cost available here near temple premises.

Awah devi is the highest place in hamirpur district. Awah devi is the main attraction in this small town. Hamirpur awahdevi Road bifurcate & further leads to on one side to sarkaghat - mandi & other side leads to tihra town of mandi district that further leads to sandhol sujanpur &a dharampur division of mandi. Thank you
It's a centuries old temple pious to people of the region. I wish they had not killed all the greenery around the temple to convert it into a concrete yard - with absolutely no protection from hot summer sun. It's a great place to be but I've known days when it used to be a far more peaceful and lovely place with lush greenery and open space
It is a very good tourist place, the best thing is that it is built at the highest elevation above sea level. A view is made from the top of the temple to all four sides. On one side of the temple, the hills of Hamirpur district and Mandi district are visible on the other side, which fascinates everyone. Nice place to visit.
It was awesome to visit. The temple is at high altitude and strong winds blow depending on the weather. You get good view of mountains from adjoining District of Mandi.
