Avvammabavi Step Well - Historical landmark in Ballari - Ballari, India

A beautiful step well located on the outskirts of Ballari. Unfortunately, no historical information about the well is mentioned nor the origin is known. The general upkeep of the well needs a lot of attention and it is adjoining a Hanuman temple which is easily accessible to all. It is a nice place to visit with family and friends to spend some time, but one needs to be careful with kids as the well does not have any protective walls

Very well maintained water well, the well is constructed with fine technology, the water is almost transparent and blue in colour, there are different type of Tortoise and the Fish are almost a feet in length, don't throw plastic materials in the well, there is a Shiva and a Hanuman temple to the east of water well, there is even entrance form North direction which is closed now

An old well, built by smt. Avvamma, one of the six sisters of hands hanumathappa Naik, the then polegar of Bellary. It was constructed between 1560_ 1565.

It was good we'll maintained by local people..one of the ancient well most of them not known. Beside Hanuman temple

This palce Gate will be locked,, need basis Gates will be opened,, So we cant go inside of this place,. Ouside view looks Good and clean.

Old Historical well,govt have to maintain it good by purifying water and clean

Heavy dust and worst bus stand this is not cleaned
