Never suitable if you are a girl. The owners will not give any worth to our rent money, and there is always a free advice "you are girls you have go learn to adjust". If we do help them they will treats us like an angel or otherwise like a refugee. Generally it was the worst experience i stayed in a hostel. With this price you can find any little and sweet hostels in the town with kind and polite servant. If you want to stay tensionless don't choose this hostel. All my known friends and others had bad experience from here. DO NOT ignore these reviews you will regret it.

Whatever i state in this review is true to the facts. I will never recommend this hostel to any one of you because i myself had a really bad experience and I don't want anyone else to face it. It's been almost 6 months since i joined ave maria ladies hostel. I vacated the hostel due to the rude behavior of the owners. In the beginning everything was smooth. One day they asked us to shift our stay to their house. The boys who were staying in that house shifted to some other place. From that that the owners started to gossip about boys to girls and vice versa. I closed my eyes in all these situations respecting their age. When i went home for leave the owners put a new girl on my bed without my permission when there was other beds vacant. Few weeks before the owner (Uncle) misbehaved to one of the girls and from that time all of us kept a distance from them. From that day problems started in the hostel like changing the rules etc. Last week the lady called one of the girls father and said lies and bad things about her and her friend.Uncle always comes into the ladies room without knocking.After we complained about that they started to behave more rude. Few days ago they put us without giving a drop of water to drink and they said the aqua filter is not working so take water from the pipes. At last we planned to give police complaint and hearing that they gave us good water. We don't know how the repaired the aqua filter in few minutes. Then it was time for another drama. Aunty called the boys in their hostel and saying that uncle has chest pain. He has heart problem and we all know that. But my doubt is that how can a person with severe chest pain (even when there is someone else to drive) drive by himself and came back within 20 mins. Everyone understood it was a well planned drama. What hurts us more is that even though even the boys understand these things they never reacted. Is this the way they will stand if this happened to their sister or even a friend? We were afraid to stay in that hostel and decided to vacate the hostel. The association people of that area came to know what was going on there. The people who came was good hearted people who respect ladies. when they understood that what we were saying is true they told us let's finish this problem in a smooth manner as we were vacating. Next day they again started to create problems. Anyway we just kept quiet respecting the association members and we vacated the hostel. It's my own experience so i have really very bad opinion on this hostel.

First we think that it's be like our home. When days go, the real characters of owners will be show out. I stayed there nearly 1 year. But I vacated from this hostel because of misbehaviour of owners(uncle) to the girls. If we say that anything like "you are doing wrong", then we will be the enemies for them. The aunty who spread gossips about the girls and boys who are staying there. They interfere in our personal problems. They are good actors too. They have the skill to play drama if any problem occurs.

Bad impression Rooms not good Location to lengthy from main road

I was staying here for almost one year. It's a very good hostel and loved the atmosphere. They were forced to close the girls hostel due to some misbehaviour from some girls such as insulting other girls, talking rumors about others like what they do now in google review with some other locals who don't know where hostel is. Guys, please don't listen to rumors and negative reviews.

I have been in this pg for past one year. I have stayed in more than 4 hostels in Ernakulam. This PG provides good food and homely atmosphere. I have seen some negative reviews. Once these people were enjoying staying here and they had sufficient facilities that they won't get from another hostel. You guys were pondered with parental love and you were guys telling "aunty, I will help you" and you were doing all household works by your own. Afterwards you had issues with them and started to make that all has complaint. Are you guys ashamed to complaint like small children. Grow up babies. They closed the girls hostel due to some bad attitude from girls. Please no one should believe these negative reviews from different lobbies... They are trying to frame this hostel with rumors. Visit the hostel and know the facilities.

My friends stayed in this pg. All of them had bad experience from both the women and man there. The lady needs the girls to get vegetables chopped, accompany them for going market and so on. Even current and water facility were not provided properly and sufficiently. Very fue plug points were given them for getting their laptops and mobile phones charged for studying and doing their work. When the no of pg members increses there attitude becomes worse. Another main problem is that they not even dare to get into our prsonal matters. I suggest that it will be not at all a good decision to take this pg.

I stayed in this hostel for 3 months. I had very bad experience there. I never recommend this hostel to anyone . They wants the girls to work and took girls to market to buy vegetables . Once when they reacted back,the owners showed their rude face to us and started irritating us .The hostel fud is very bad and they give us yesterday or day before yesterday's fud . They mix the old fud and give to us . I struggled alot there . My kind request to one who search hostels in kaloor is "NEVER" choose this hostel .If u guys ignore these reviews you surely regret alot .
