Avanti Inn - Lodge in Guruvayur - Thrissur, India

I booked rooms in Avanti through online but I couldn't go that day due to some personal reasons. They refunded me the advance amount as soon as I called them. When contacted by phone, they were very responsive to my questions.

PATHETIC, WORST STAY EVER. Most dirtiest rooms that I have ever seen. Stained bedsheets, unhygienic rooms, dirty doormats, uncleaned washrooms, everything was so worst. How can anyone pay such a high amount for the stay over there, really not worth it. Even if we got to stay for free, I wouldn't choose it. Highly bad. I RECOMMEND NOT TO STAY HERE. They just loot you with money. Also, the ***** people don't even converse in other language except Malayalam. Please, a big request to not choose this after you've read this. ONE OF THE WORST STAYS TILL DATE.

Rooms was not properly cleaned. Less air conditioning and will not recommend non ac rooms .location is really nice very near to the temple but if you have dust allergy do not dare to go there . There is a foul smell coming from the room which will definitely affect people with breathing problems. Bathroom was ok but the tap was broken. There was not even a single carpet in the room so the tiles were too wet. Food is not bad . Bed was also not good the lift even have a bad smell. easily accessible to the temple . The room was soo hot and didn't even got proper sleep. the men at the reception was nice and acceptable

THIS HOTEL I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONEOur room was so pathetic when we got there. The ambiance and amenities were beautiful It showed Wifi, hot water, and so on. However, there is nothing to be found. THEY ARE NOT PROVIDING A SINGLE TOWEL. THEY SAID THEY DON'T HAVE TOWELS! (It's so funny that still they are having a hotel service business without providing a single towel. my god!. Finally, I and my wife went outside of the market by 12. 30 am and purchased a towel, and took bath. how pathetic.) Finally, we demanded at least one-bed sheet. Eventually, after 30 minutes of demanding, they provided. There is no small carpet outside of the bathroom, and what happened, after having a bath is, the entire room became flooded. (Those basic needs of a customer, are not provided)1. No towels.2. No Soap in the bathroom.3. No carpet in front of the toilet.4. No wifiPLEASE DON'T GO TO THIS HOTEL. IT'S TRASH. In my lifetime I never experienced such a bad situation. I WILL NOT PREFER ANYONE TO CHOOSE THIS HOTEL

A experience of the outdated lodging experience. Dirty rooms . Dirty linen . Torn Pillow covers . Stinking bathroom. No towels . Only 1 soap for how many ever guests No telephone in the room. Hot water on push tap only to ensure you fight for the hot water. Happy well fed cockroaches and lizards in the room. Very dirty stinking elevator. Check it out yourself before you decide to take the room .

Very bad condition of rooms, foul smell and dirtiest rooms , not at all recommended, sorry state of affairs and too much expensive for AC room.

We booked 3 double room A/c for attending a marriage . We reached at hotel after long journey by 12:00 PM, We need to wait for 2 hours as there check-in timing was 2:00 PM. The timing is 24 hours. We requested and were willing to pay additional payment for early check-in and they denied by telling that room cleaning is going on (Later we understand that they were lying. We saw the key of room allocated were at there keyholder during we reached) . They made us to wait for 2 hours. Room Quality : The rooms we got are below average . It looks like an ordinary lodge room fitted with A/c and TV. There is an old man who will be taking care of the things other than receptionist. His behavior is rude. Room Quality : Bed were dirty with sand and other stuffs. Some of our members were got skin allergy and they suffered. Bathroom were terribly smelling bad odor. It is having low privacy. Ventilation is wide open, a person can pass through that space. Window curtains length not sufficient enough to cover the privacy. A person from opposite building can easily see what all happening in the room We asked for change of room and according to them they don't have alternate room. Customer Service : While Check-in there were no remotes for the TV and Cable connection. When we asked to send it they want us to go to reception and collect it. These guys know that the customer will book their rooms since this is very near to Temple. Some of the guest came for the marriage booked at Hotel Balakrishna Inn, Which is just opposite to this hotel. Even though the room rent is 300-400 more they have much better room and quality of service. Its up to the person who is reading this to choose this or different hotel.

There was no ventilation hole at the room.. Even I was not able to open window... It was closed permanently, that creates a very bad smell at room... Which spoiled my entire trip... No mug was there at room. Power cut was also there.. Even table was not there.. They just managed it with 2 chairs
