I had a bad experience with this place. I had booked hotel in advance for 7 days and it was in written on email by Avalon. On last the the guy manager asked me to checkout because they are having some wedding booking. I gently told him I have booked in advance so why should I check out early, so he talked very arrogantly that the hotel is booked for wedding and by mistake they have Given me the confirmation for 7 days. In short people (not all but they guy I delt with , I don't remember exact name but shekar something), talking arrogantly and thinking like he not the manager of hotel but owner of mine. I genuinely believe people specially in hospitality industry should have decency to accept their mistake and deal the situation with calmness and with good attitude. I won't suggest to stay at place where they don't respect their customers and prefer one customer over other just because of someone is having bulk booking. Poor management!!

For the guests of our marriage, we had made hotel reservations. Both the suits were booked for a bride's family, and the conditions of the rooms were pathetic. There was no intercom service, electrical switches were broken, AC was making continuous noise, the mattresses were of substandard quality and the floors were dirty. The room service was subpar. We would never recommend this hotel to anyone due to our embarrassment in front of the guests regarding the hotel's service and quality.

The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated, The location was excellent, with easy access to major attractions and business districts. Overall,Avalon Hotel in Ahmedabad is a top-notch establishment that I highly recommend to both business and leisure travelers.

Very pathetic hotel, sometimes TV recharge is not there they keep you waiting whole night. Then morning hot water is coming Nd wash basin is blockage. Then top of it at night fan is not working. I would never recommend any one to visit this place.

Front entrance Enjoyed Excellent luxery peaceful stay. Had booked for one night , extended 4 more days as I liked staying there. Ambience of room is good and calm. Spacious room. Clean linen. Clean good bathroom Welcome tea bags and water. Timely room services and cleaning . Helpful staff at reception. Wonderful experience 5

Visited the restaurant for lunch. Food is good not excellent. While ordering I had to order twice as the waiter forgot the entire order. Especially while we almost finished the lunch he asked about papad. So funny but overall a good experience.

Worst hotel and worst staff ever I saw in my entire life worst service staff is very very rude we were 3 girls staying in this hotel but staff was not good there behaviour towards us was very bad we paid extra charges for everything including hotel amenities worst place i will never recommend this hotel to anyone

Pros: Food was tasty and of good quality, spacious rooms. The hotel property has all amenities and quite spacious overall from rooms to parking to the lobby as well as the reception and restaurant area. The area outside the hotel has a lot of eatery options and quite developed. Cons: The reception has no AC nor any fan/cooler. The reception staff themselves had a separate cooler; however on inquiry about turning on the AC or providing a cooler for people sitting at the reception, they ignored. The room AC turned off automatically in all 5-6 rooms in the middle of the night until the next day and resumed only when complaint. The room washrooms are not well maintained. The taps were either broken or rusted. The towels are old. The water kettle was not working. Wall Paints have started to wear off. The restaurant has strict timings. They don't allow outside food inside the hotel nor provide food even if possible. Even for a small request during breakfast like toasting a bread was outright denied. At 10.45pm on ordering a simple dish like dal khichdi too was denied to our group of 15 people. More than half the people went to bed empty stomach since outside food too is not allowed inside the hotel premises. The staff at the reception especially the main manager are ignorant and rude. Breakfast was ok and repetitive.
