An amazing view point to stopover for an hour to enjoying viewing to relax mind. I hope less development takes place in this area so that prestince nature can be preserved. Have to drive with extreme care as there are blind spots at curves to tackle. Please don't discard any type of garbage here. I picked up few pieces of garbage, hence I request others to do the same.
This place is one of the best scenic spots we spotted in Ooty .. we have to travel about an hour to reach the avalanche lake .. the trip the place so many beautiful places.. though the lake has not much water
I traveled from Ooty,the route to avalanchi is so scenic. I damn sure you will enjoy this route
This place has an untouched beauty. It's 26km from ooty. It takes around hours to cover this. You will have to arrange your own vehicle to visit this place. Nature lovers will definitely find it. Roads are very narrow and dusty. But the entire journey to this place is worth it as you will cross so many tea gardens and grasslands. And when you will reach there you will find the lake breathtaking. As the lake is located in Eastern Ghats and is surrounded by pine forest. That place is so calm, you won't feel like coming back. You can sit there, listen to songs and enjoy the beer . These are the must have things.
Beautiful landscape and one of the best place to visit when in ooty. Only request to all will be do not litter, I found 100s of alcohol bottles and 1000, of packet all over the place, which explains idiots have no care for this Beautiful place. I request govt puts a check on the visitors and stop eating and drinking at this beautiful place on earth...
Loved the place, dont go to Ooty lake or anything. Visit this place, enjoy the view in peace. The setting is really beautiful and serene. Request you all to not pollute this area like what happened to Ooty lake or soon nothing will be left to enjoy in these places. Recommended.
Last visit no water to see but this is looks cool. If there water means it look like a beautifully Must try this place for nature view
