Visited yesterday with my friends The view from the top is really beautiful, though try to go in the early morning as in summer it gets really hot. The famous peak point where mostly everyone takes pictures is barricaded and is guarded too. Guard charge 100Rs per person to allow photos at famous peak point If you want to trek to the temple you can but If you don't then vehicles too are allowed to top but you'll have to request local shopkeepers at the starting point (just tell them you'll buy things from them after returning). For trekking too there are two options , by road or by stairs.

Made sudden last moment plans to for this small trek.. Was peaceful and less crowded even though it was a sunday. Easy 1hr trek to the top. Better to go early morning to avoid the afternoon heat. Beware of monkeys.

It was lovely. I visited on Monday and I was the single person there. Timing is not bound you can go 6 in the morning also, but Car and bike they will only allow after 10.30. There were no guards in the morning we went around 8 am .. there were two street dogs that they have kept on cliff so that you don't go there but trust me they might bark at first but they are lovely and friendly just be calm and please buy some biscuits for them. If you climb there will be no shop up there also washroom they will charge 50rs for using which is way too much. Overall I loved it

This was a 4 am decision to go for a small hike to the top. We reached very early in the morning initial plan was to see the sunrise from the top but we reached quite late but walking in the nature away from the city noise was already overwhelming. There were no one except us hiking. Was something else. Due to safety reason the cliff is strictly prohibited. But other than that you can still enjoy the hill view from the Lakshmi temple few steps uphill. Som

Great experience!! We went around 5 am with aim to watch sunrise from top but mist was so much, we could hardly see the Sunrise. But the cold breeze was worth all the effort we put in to reach top. Best place to visit with friends, not much crowded if you go early.

Really nice place, Top of this place is very nice. Monkeys are there, so be careful. It is 100 km away from Bangalore. Just try to reach there at 7 am. Washroom and restaurant are not available there, so for ladies it is an issue. Otherwise place is ready nice.
