First biggest railway station once we enter into chennai limit. It can be much cleaner and hygiene. Only best thing is we have lot of parking slots on all the sides of stations for the commuters. Most of the commuters will get down in this station for west chennai. Few express with halt here. The best station for daily commuters from Tiruttani,Arakkonam,Katpadi,etc,.to reach koyambedu,poonamalle,etc,.

Good station. 4 platforms available. Few long travel trains stop on schedule. I got mangalur expenses around 4:30PM. Usually this train stops at this station.
