Auroville Crnter guest house is the best place to explore Auroville and its neighborhoods. It is located in the center (as suggested in the name ), it is nice and quiet. Laundry of a few daily items is included, as well as breakfast and dinner. Food is prepared with love and facilities are really take care of. Rooms are clean and charming. Also they can provide you good contacts for anything you could need like renting a scooter at a reasonable price with Mani. Highly recommended
We - a group of four friends stayed here for 2 nights. We were allotted 2 rooms on the ground floor. The charges were 3100 per room inclusive of breakfast, dinner and laundry. Breakfast and dinner were limited in variety and quantity both. Dinner starts at 7 pm and even if you reach by 7.20 pm, high chances that the food reaches bottom of the container - it happened with us. Even for breakfast one has to reach at 7 am though time is 7 to 9am. On one day the bread got over and i had to bring the bread which i had with me - luckily. I opted for this stay as breakfast and dinner was included. If you can ride bicycle its ok or else auto charges are 150 for a drop anywhere in Auroville - nothing is close enough to walk. In case you need AC in room, you have to pay 300/- extra per day. Our rooms, the surrounding area, garden, were very clean and the staff polite and smiling - specially Antony and Laxmi. Laundry is to be given by 8 am and collected by 5 pm or on the next day - 5 pieces per person. Eateries in Auroville are very expensive and in the absence of vehicle, one has to presume auto charges of 300/- return fare. The good part is autos arrive at the desired time if you book before. Overall, we were very pleased and satisfied with our stay here
Tranquil place within walking distance from the Matrimandir. Simple accommodation, very aesthetically furbished and well maintained. Very cheerful staff. Highly recommended
Center Guest House is a good place to stay in Auroville, they provide you breakfast & dinner, easy access to places within. Cristina a wonderful lady to associate with and got all the assistance from her during the stay. Planning to go back and just stay there and enjoy the garden, the people around you.

I spent a day here for a regional meet. The serene, simple, aesthetic beauty of this guest house is mesmerizing. Like all things in Auroville, nature and construction go beautifully together. Every book and corner have a thing of beauty. Extremely peaceful space, great for long stays, quiet working, and just relaxing. Highly recommending this place.

The guest houses are clean, calm on a palm of nature with amazing people in the kitchen who serve fresh fruits and food with immense love. The trees around this place are unique in various ways. Beautiful guest house, centrally located! The staff is very helpful and the room rent is affordable and includes breakfast, dinner and bicycle rent. You wont require AC, the food is also amazing! Would strongly recommend to people visiting auroville. We were able to get our auro card from here only.
