Over the years, this particular place has haunted me because I have some emotional connections with Pondi that span over decades. It is a very long and wide beach. Although I enjoy going to beaches like this, I do not enjoy seeing garbage and bottles scattered all over the place as a result of bad behavior on the part of beach goers. It is so sad to see how irresponsible and indisciplined people are today. There are no concerns about the fact that it is our planet and our nature.

The beach is filled with sea shells, but be careful while collecting it or walking barefoot, there are broken beer/alcohol bottle glasses that may cut you.
I suggest to visit the place early morning or in the evening or else keep sunscreen handy!

Nice beach, but no watersports
Good beach, not so clean and well maintained but still gives a good vibe. You can see many fishermen boats over here, making it a different perspective for pictures rather than just the normal beaches.
Absolutely dirty beach..completely black..dont waste your energy coming here..water is also too turbulent even if you accept dirt beach!!

We had an episode of Eve teasing here. A few drunk people keep on roaming here. They kept saying something in their language, showing bad signs and later chased us. Would not recommend any family to visit here
