My appreciation goes to the owner of this place, as this hotel do allows pet for stay. A decent place at an affordable budget. Mr. Sabith, the owner, is a wonderful person taking care for the guests' stay and comfort. For 4 nights of stay here I had got a good discounted rate. Its a small place yet have the feel of the homely comfort. Picture showing a glimpse of decorations done during this year Christmas and New year celebrations. To mention here the owner has also opened up a restaurant nearby which is well and good for one's stay. Enjoy!
Had an amazing stay for three days at Auro Mandir. Right from booking, even before checking in, they were very supportive throughout the entire duration. Lovely calm place at the best area to stay if visiting Pondicherry, with many best cafes being at Auroville nearby this hotel. There is a nice calm restaurant too in the yard and the staff is very helpful with our needs. Each and every person at the hotel were very quick to reach out to help for anything anytime. Made our Trip a memorable one! Missing Orange !! Once again, thank you so very much Prashant and Team for your hospitality!!!
Great menu prices, but when I found out that only a few things were available and that egg rolls (not on menu) were available I ordered one. It was delivered from another restaurant 45 minutes later and it was more expensive than anything on the entire menu. She told me "probably 100inr" but then after I got the roll he charged me 150. I had to hand the cash over since no credit cards are accepted. What a rip off. I didn't even like it. Kolkata egg rolls are usually one of my favorite foods in India but this 150rs roll wasn't even as good as 65rs rolls that I've eaten.
To be honest I had a small budget so I wanted something good beautiful safe place to stay hence,lucky me I did chose this place to have a stay and I really had my best time there, it's ambience it's silence it's Shadows, like it was a quick sneak trip and in my small budget didn't have any idea that I would get well so furnished facilities,room was so neat well maintained and naaicee,the most i loved was it's stillness and privacy and beautifully kept all things and some antique posters on wall I would say it was completely worth it,I would really want to visit and recommend it I felt like a family can have a good stay too there it's cozy n wide room n place and again I would really like have a stay for more days! someday
The place is managed by a few young men. Although they came across as friendly, they were not so professional. They had locked the premises and had slept before we got back from the town around 10 PM without even trying to reach us to inform. The rooms were really small. The linen wasn't the cleanest either.
This is a good place to stay. It is located near the auro Beach. The city centre aka white town is 7kms from this place.Also the famous Auroville bakery, tantos.. Are within 1kms from this place. The host was welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this place to stay and there is nearby open spaces to park your vehicles.
Crazy place to stay. Mr. Sabith, helped us a lot during our stay. Although it is out of Pondicherry, but you can njoy a lot here. Food is good. Firewood oven pizza is special over here.
Located in auroville, must visit bread and chocolate, farm house, the auroville bakery - all these are best food places in pondicherry.. and are within 2kms from the stay. the auroville beach is also close to the stay (1.5km). an great place to stay, owner is very helpful.. affordable rooms, safe especially if group of girls are travelling, would highly recommend this place. PET FRIENDLY STAY.
