Aura - The Lounge Bar - Bar in Chennai - Chennai, India

I visited the Aura Bar in the hotel so this is really a review for the Bar. The hotel location is nice and the Bar was well decorated and seatings spacious, no crowding. The service was excellent and really enjoyed their menu. The snack bites were , masala peanuts, Madras mixture and popcorn. I am not super impressed with the mixture and popcorn although I noticed that people were refilling popcorns. I went on a Wednesday, there was a live band belting out 80s and 90s songs and the band was good. I again visited the Bar on a quiet Sunday afternoon. The bar was nearly empty. Bar manager Srinivasan was gracious and took good care. He hand crafted a Moscow Mule for us ant it was very good. My friend ordered their signature chicken kebab and said it was amazing. I liked the place will be visiting again. Four stars for me

Aura is inside Radha Regent, Koyambedu so no worries on parking. This is a pretty decent watering hole. During happy hours which is until 6 PM on a working day, you buy two pints and get the 3rd pint free. They serve British Empire. The Imported cocktails carry a 58% Tax making it absurdly expensive. The waiter was kind enough to specifically mention about the imported taxes. For lack of family oriented lounge bar in Chennai this one gets my thumbs up.

Aura it's a good caption for this bar. First we from parking its in Radha regent so we can use the wallet parking and cost wise moderate only so no prob for the cost wise. Then they were signing in the lounge so it's melodies song (hindi) can enjoy with friends but too loud, some people can enjoy but some other cannot. Service it's awesome they were treating kinda good. Menu is less so they can improve in menus. Lighting is also awesome so it's gives feel to enjoy the moment. Visited the Aura Bar on Saturday night. The manager Bala Krishnamurthy made it a pretty terrible experience and was treated with disrespect. Come here if you want attitude and he doesn't deserve to be in customer service profile.

Worst service. I have been there today.. Live karoke was really good, but the food service is worse.. They didn't get the starter for around 40min then we cancelled the order. No apologize talk also from anyone. If any one want to have drink with food please order the food before you start from your house then I think it will be ready here.

Got here after googling and going to two different bars which were too crowded. Got to this place and immediately felt relieved. A quite and well kept place with cozy seating, and the food they served was absolutely delicious. Next time I'm visiting Chennai, I'm going again for sure. The staff were very polite and well mannered. Keep it up. Regards from Kochi.

Good ambiance, Wednesday night is Melody night. Have a scotch, grill and enjoy your favorite song with your favorites. Ambiance always comes with price. Quite peaceful place for spending you hustle and bustle Life style. One disappointing is that you have to step down to ground floor for smoke. Yep that's only for smokers to worry not ladies.
