Rooms are ok as the price is reasonable. Bathrooms are small. In Ground floor a good restaurant is there with Veg foods.. outside you can get so many hotels and restaurants. So all together my review is that if you want to be there then you have to manage a bit and overall you will get a good service.
AUM KARTHIKEYA RESIDENCY was very good in their hospitality and it is a good and cheap place to stay. It is super close to Chennai Central so people staying for 1 night or 2 night stays will benefit from the price. Hot water, TV subscription, Fan are all in working conditions in the nonAC room I stayed in. Only cons is the Bedsheet is torn and not clean so you should carry your own sheets and towels. Bathroom is clean enough for the price. May have some mosquitoes during winter so take your mosquito repellants.
Worst service ever! Wasn't informed about the check in and check out time. And at the day of check out they took extra Rs2,000 for an extra single night! Receptionist was super rude and her literal words were "You don't have the knowledge" so if you choose this hotel kindly read through the "Knowledge" book they refer to! Worst place to even stay at! At night the room was stinking of drainage. Toilet seats were broken! Room no. 301 s where I stayed. No bed sheets and towels. In addition the workers ask you to pay them for tea and coffee.
It is very nice and budget friendly room. I Was staying there for 8 night.. Hotel management peoples are very helpful... Highly recommended for mid budget peoples..
Rooms are Congested and Bathrooms are too narrow to enter. Only good thing is that heater is available. For the price we pay, the rooms are not upto the mark.
