Atmosphere Resort - Resort hotel in Kotagiri - The Nilgiris, India

The food was amazing and great customer service. The owners of the property made sure that we felt comfortable and we had a pleasant stay.

The rooms are quite spacious . Hall is very good for events

The stay was pleasant. I stayed with my family,it was an amazing experience as this is located in the middle of tea estate. We were greeted with wild bisons in the night which made the experience exhilarating. I have given 3 stars only because I was not satisfied with the staff as they were not customer oriented. When it comes about the food, they literally counted the number of items we ate for breakfast not more not less. For example we were 7 members and we were given 7 pooris and when asked for more, literally the staff asked how many more needed My feedback for the resort would be, your location has the potential to be a fine resort but you need to improve customer experience.

One of the best place to stay in Kotagiri. It is located 2kms away from the city which is the main advantage of this hotel. My friend and I stayed there for a day. They provide complimentary breakfast which is quite good. If u travel as a group they arrange camp fire on request. We just enjoyed being with one such group of uncles. Bison visits are often here because we had 2 visitors over the night. Overall the experience was awesome mainly because of the location.

Stay: location of the resort was at mid of tea estate, view and climate was awesome. Excellent place to stay... Rooms are clean and spacious. Best place to stay and enjoy the climate. Food: Food quality and quantiy was good. We can customize our orders, chef will prepare accordingly.Cost of food was nominal. Personally i tried both veg and non veg dishes, taste was excellent.

Location wise too good it's a treat for eyes to see all the nature around this place. If you don't want to stay inside Ooty city and deal with traffic this resort is away from all that city buzz and offers all the peace and beautiful experience as this is located in the middle of tea estate. We even had wild visiters in our stay giving that one time experience. Do note, this is approx 27km away from Ooty and if you have plans to cover places near City like nilgiri trail train etc , you might want to stay near city as driving through 27kms ghat takes lot of time and you may have difficulty in covering places. From the service perspective, don't expect too much as this is a proper home stay not a resort, although they call it resort. They offer free breakfast but don't expect quantity as they seem to be tight on food quota. Staffs are super lazy and will need lot of reminders to get anything done . Bathrooms are super slippery, if you have any old folks in your family,you might want to take extra care for their safety. Apart from that my stay with family was great and I will cherish my ooty memories with all the memories because of this resort and the misty experience it offered while reaching this place. There is ample parking space and reaching here is not a problem if you follow Google maps.

We were part of a group which used the facilities. Food was good. Facilities could be better. We had to walk in the rain to wash hands after the meal. Rooms could do with a bit more attention.
