I always wanted to learn a martial art when i was young but never could fulfill it. Finally I decided to learn from my dear friend Dons place. I have studied with him since my engineering college days and the way he has transformed his life with Kalaripayattu has always been inspirational for me. So i have been learning kalaripayattu for around 8 months now and my other yogic practices have definitely enhanced because of it. Waking up early and practicing this ancient martial art has been game changing for me. Doing the morning chants and practicing in touch with soil has truly brought a lot of balance and peace

The best place to go if you wanna learn kalari and yoga. Our teacher, Don, is very patient and kind. He managed the class very well and planned according to our needs. Though kalari is physically challenging, with systematic, clear and detailed instruction by Don, I was very engaged and energetic throughout the process. He always encourages us to take one step forward. As a person, he is very humble and dedicated. He is always energetic and ready. I am very inspired by his dedication and passion, not only to Kalari but life. As a theatre practitioner, I found the strength, flexibility, kinetic response and awareness required in Kalari is very helpful for my work. I come from Hong Kong. It's a wonderful experience to have cultural exchange with Don and his family. If you are also keen in traditional martial art, or interested in intercultural exchange, or spiritual practice, you should not miss it. The place was super comfy, with quiet and beautiful views of nature, as a city person, I found the place very refreshing. The hosting place is neat and comfortable. I slept very well there. Don's family has provided everything we need. We didn't have to worry about anything but enjoyed the training. Don and Minnu took care of us very well. Not to mention Minnu's cooking is AMAZING. It's the best thing to eat healthy, delicious home-made food after a long day of training. It's my best experience in India. I'm grateful that we have been there and met Don and his lovely family. I would definitely come back again.

Had one of the best Spiritually and Physically awakening experiences with Atman Kalari. I've always been inclined to learn martial arts but couldn't enroll into a program for various reasons. By the grace of God and my ancestor's blessings I got an opportunity to receive the knowledge of Kalaripayattu from Master Don. He's an accomplished practitioner of Kalari and provides personal attention to his students. Even though I had very little stamina and a body of a 36 yrs old man, he was very patient and had tailored the program as per my capacity to learn. By practicing Kalaripayattu I've felt healthier and calmer. From the bottom of my heart I thank Master Don to teach me the knowledge of my ancestors.
