One of the most famous waterfalls in Kerala. If you are bored of the city life? Best place to chill.. Nice view, the harmonious sounds of nature.. Refreshing both mind and body...
One of my dream place in India. It's mesmerising. From the entry with vehicle fee you have to pay and park the car beside the road as there is no particular parking. And take the entry ticket again for falls entry. From there it's just 10-15 walkable distance for top view. Carry water bottle along with you and return the empty bottle in entry as they will give you 10 rupee refund. Enjoy the top view for a while and start trek to the down. If you are aged or handicap or having breathing issue do not take risk and stay in the upside as we need to walk inside the forest around 30 mins in mud. As it's a orange alert when we enter, they don't allow us to go near to the water fall. If you visit after February, you can play in the water due to water flow will be less. If you want to see the water flow then best time to visit is from June to December. You will be lost for a while in nature for sure.
Well maintained and guards were there to protect us from entering into dangerous sites. Try to be there during evening time, otherwise the blistering sun will make you tired. Try not to avoid the downward portion of the waterfall, you can see the complete beauty of this waterfall from that position. Take care of small children, some rocks can hurt them.
One of the best waterfalls in kerala. I have visited the place so many times and i love it. Must place to visit with family and friends, surely gonna enjoy the ride as well as waterfall If you are carrying water bottles with you be careful, monkeys are so funny they try to snatch bottles and drink from it(from my own experience).
One of the best and most famous waterfalls in South India. Situated in Thrissur district Kerala State. One should visit during the monsoon to experience the best. There are two viewing angles for this. One from the top and another from the bottom. But it is a bit hard to reach the bottom. Wat to the down is a bit slippery and full of hard rocks. For elders and kids it will be challenging. Wear good footwear and better to carry one extra dress as well. Try to experience the sunset. But our Tourism department should think of something innovative to please the attention of foreigners.
This falls comes to light for tourism after the pan world movie called BAAHUBALI, where the falls shown in this movie were captured here. The flow of water was quite good it's clear. But they don't allow people into the water.
The waterfall in Kerala stands as one of the largest in the region. From my perspective, the monsoon season is the ideal time to visit, although consulting locals for water level updates beforehand is advisable. A nominal entry fee applies for both self-car parking and camera usage. Access to the bottom requires a walk, although an outside view is an alternative. The grandeur of the waterfall truly shines when water levels are high; otherwise, it may feel crowded. Nearby, shops and eateries offer convenience, and additional falls in the vicinity cater to those interested in exploring further
Entry fees are 50 per person. There is a walk like 200 meters to reach the top of the falls and 500-600 meters to reach the down of the falls. Well maintained.

This beautiful seasonal waterfall is located between Vazhachal and Athirapally waterfalls on the Athirapally road. It can be viewed from the road while sitting in your vehicle and snap some photos. This waterfall comes alive during monsoon. In other

This is the second time I'm visiting this property with my wife. The rooms were worth for the money we spent. Even though the property is located on roadside, we weren't disturbed of sound or any sort of vehicle pollution. Toilet were cept clean, whi
