I would rate this as the best in and around Velachery area.. I've been to many aquarium shops nearby but haven't find any better than this.. well organised and has a decent collection of fishes.. You can get the entire set up required for an aquarium.. They also has premium fishes alongwith regular varieties...
Best shop to buy aquarium accessories. They don't have large collections of fishes, but the quality of the fish is somewhat good than other aquariums nearby. The owner have lots of knowledge about aquarium related stuffs. Can be able to answer any question you have in your mind.
This place is small and a little bit difficult to locate. But please make the effort and visit this place. I bought my entire set up from Astra Aquatics. They are equipped with all the stuff, pumps, tanks, filters, media, aqua soil, gravel, rocks, fishes, test kit, food etc. The fishes are kept neatly and are well taken care of - that says a lot about how dedicated the administrators are.
Looks like we have everything to start as Aqua hobbist from this shop. He has deep knowledge and reasonable product price for all aquarium set up. Limited fishes with good quality and healthy.
One of the best aquatic place I've visited. Has everything that you need to setup a perfect aquarium incl. Seawater and fishes. Quality is obvious. However, it is priced slightly higher and totally non-negotiable. Could be doing discounts when buying multiple setups/ aquarium tools! That's one feedback.
